Aurora kinase A (AURKA) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in cell cycle regulation, particularly during mitosis. Recent studies have identified AURKA as an oncogene overexpressed in various cancers, including gastric cancer (GC). This review summarizes the molecular mechanisms by which AURKA contributes to GC pathogenesis, including its roles in cell proliferation, apoptosis inhibition, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and cancer stemness.

Depression is a widespread mental health condition associated with impaired neuroplasticity and disrupted brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)/TrkB signaling. Black mulberry, rich in anthocyanins, shows promise as a natural intervention for its anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory profiles. This study evaluated the antidepressant-like effects of black mulberry anthocyanins in mice subjected to chronic mild stress (CMS).

Metabolic associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is a severe form of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) characterized by hepatocellular injury, inflammation, and fibrosis. Despite advances in understanding its pathophysiology, the molecular mechanisms driving MASH progression remain unclear. This study investigates the role of long non-coding RNA Linc01271 in MASLD/MASH pathogenesis, ant its involvement in the miR-149-3p/RAB35 axis and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.

We previously revealed that the G1896A mutation could enhance HBV replication and promote hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell growth both in vitro and in vivo. However, the in-depth mechanisms by which this mutation promotes the malignancy of HCC still need to be explored.
