Objective: Digestive tract tumors are the common tumors in China. Platinum-based chemotherapy drugs, especially oxaliplatin, play an important role in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. Starting from October 2021, the fifth national centralized volume-based procurement (NCVBP) was implemented in China to reduce the price of oxaliplatin.

Traceability of animal movements and robust surveillance are crucial for prevention and control of animal diseases. While network analysis has emerged as a powerful tool for identifying higher-risk holdings through centrality metrics, its effectiveness depends on two methodological choices: (1) edge-weighting schemes (movement frequency vs. animal volume) and (2) centrality metric selection.

Background: Pooled procurement is widely adopted to improve medicine affordability, yet its impact on patients' medicine adherence and economic burden remains underexplored. This study addresses these gaps under China's National Volume-Based Procurement (NVBP) policy.
Methods: Using claims data from Tianjin, China (2017-2020), we conducted a retrospective cohort study of new-users of NVBP antihypertensive medicines before and after policy implementation.

Objective: This study examined how hospital procedure volume influences outcomes of burn patients receiving skin allografts.
Methods: Data of adults ≥ 18 years with burns of 20-50 % of the total body surface area who received skin allografts were extracted from the US Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS) database 2005-2020. Hospitals were categorized into low- and high-volume based on an annual number of skin allograft procedures, and patients were categorized by type of hospital at which they received treatment.

Objectives: To estimate the impact of China's volume-based procurement (VBP) policy on the expenditure of both policy-covered and uncovered drugs, and to identify the elements that contribute to drug expenditure changes under VBP policy.
Methods: Using national drug procurement data of public medical institutions, this study included 25 policy-covered VBP drugs and 99 policy-uncovered alternative drugs as samples, seven "4+7" pilot cities and eight "4+7" expansion provinces as observation regions. Time-varying difference-in-difference (DID) model was applied to quantify policy impact on drug expenditures.
