Influenza A virus pneumonia in children is a serious respiratory infection disease. In view of the limitations of single treatment at present, this study aims to explore the clinical effect of glucocorticoid (GC) combined with azithromycin (AZM) on it. the data of 75 children with swine flu pneumonia were analyzed retrospectively, and they were divided into GC group (GCG), AZM group (AZMG), and GC + AZM group (combined group, CG) according to the treatment scheme, with 25 cases in each group. Clinical symptom recovery time, total effective rate, pulmonary function index before and after the treatment, including peak expiratory flow (PEF), forced vital capacity (FVC), functional residual capacity (FRC), maximum inspiratory pressure (PImax), and other pulmonary ventilation indicators, and serum inflammatory factors such as interleukin-8 (IL-8), interleukin-8 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), c-reactive protein (CRP), white blood cell (WBC), and procalcitonin (PCT) were compared. the recovery time of body temperature and disappearance time of lung rales in the CG group were significantly shorter than those in the GCG/AZMG group (P < .05), with a total effective rate of 92%, which was significantly higher than that in the GCG/AZMG group (60%, 64%, P < .05). The lung function index and serum inflammatory factors were significantly improved, PEF, FVC, FRC, and PImax were significantly increased, while TNF-α, IL-8, IL-6, CRP, WBC, and PCT were significantly decreased in CG compared with GCG and AZMG (P < .05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions (rash events, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea) among the 3 groups (P > .05). the combined use of GC and AZM shows better efficacy than single treatment in treating children with influenza A virus pneumonia, which can significantly shorten the recovery time of clinical symptoms, improve the treatment efficiency, improve lung function indexes and reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors. This discovery provides a new idea for the clinical treatment of children with swine flu pneumonia.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a particularly aggressive subtype of breast cancer with high metastatic potential, limited treatment options, and low patient survival rates. By combining functional proteomics and genomics approaches, we identified an oncogenic transcriptional network in mesenchymal and invasive TNBC involving the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), GATA6, MYC, and AP-1 transcription factors. Although these transcription factors bound extensively to shared enhancers, they utilized different enhancer repertoires from this shared enhancer pool to drive distinct downstream oncogenic pathways.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of telitacicept versus mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) in high-risk progressive immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN).
Methods: This retrospective, multicentre cohort study included patients with high-risk progressive IgAN who received telitacicept or MMF therapy, both combined with low-dose steroids. Clinical data were collected from treatment initiation to 12 months.
Background: Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD) is a benign, self-limited, rare disease that rarely coexists with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
Methods: We reported a case of a young female who presented with recurrent fever accompanied by painful lymphadenopathy, joint pain, and skin rash.
Results: Excisional biopsy of lymph node indicated KFD.

Objective: To wean respiratory support, preterm infants with severe respiratory failure are often administered systemic corticosteroids. We sought to evaluate if postnatal age or clinical characteristics predicted death or tracheostomy following systemic dexamethasone in evolving bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
Study Design: We performed a retrospective study of infants born at ≤ 30 weeks' gestational age cared for at a Level IV referral center from 2009 to 2019 who received a complete course of systemic dexamethasone beyond 4 weeks of age for the indication of preventing death and/or liberating from positive pressure ventilation.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) requires accurate therapeutic response assessment. This study evaluates the efficacy and prognostic value of [18F] fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (18F-FDG PET-CT) using the Deauville 5-point scale and maximum standardized uptake value (ΔSUVmax) methods in DLBCL patients. A retrospective study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022, including 60 DLBCL patients.
