Objective: This study evaluated the effect of the type of thickener and mineral supplementation of bleaching gels on enamel demineralization.
Materials And Methods: Enamel specimens were divided into five groups according to the type of thickener: CA-Carbopol, AE-Aerosil 200, PO-Poloxamer 407, GG-Guar gum, and HEC-Hydroxyethyl cellulose. Each group was subdivided into three subgroups according to the level of mineral supplementation: none, saturation concentration, and maximum addition. The microhardness (KHN), surface roughness (Ra), color change (ΔE00), and mineral content (DD) were measured before and after the treatment, and the changes were calculated. The data was analyzed with two-way ANOVA and Tukey's test.
Results: ANOVA showed significant differences among the groups (p < 0.05). The results of the Tukey test were: %KHN-HEC>GG>CA>PO>AE. %Ra-CA>HEC>PO>GG>AE. DE00-AE>GG>PO>HEC. %DD-HEC>PO>GG>CA>AE. The supplementation reduced the means of %KHN, %Ra, and %DD, without affecting the DE00. The effect of the supplementation level was not statistically significant.
Conclusion: It was concluded that the type of thickener and the use of mineral supplementation significantly influenced the deleterious effects on the enamel.

Objective: Progesterone (PG) and its target, progesterone receptor (PGR), are important regulators in inflammatory diseases. This study aimed to investigate the specific role of PG in periodontitis and to elucidate the underlying mechanisms involving PGR.
Methods: Women with periodontitis, including 250 with PG deficiency, 250 with PG supplementation, and 245 controls (normal PG) were enrolled.

Background And Aim: The global demand for efficient poultry production necessitates alternatives to antibiotic growth promoters. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a novel four-component organic-mineral feed additive (OMFA), comprising lactulose, arginine, ultrafine silicon dioxide particles, and succinic acid, and a three-component variant (without lactulose) on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, elemental tissue composition, and the cecal microbiota of Arbor Acres broiler chickens.
Materials And Methods: One hundred and five one-day-old broiler chicks were randomly allocated into three groups: Control, Group I (four-component OMFA), and Group II (three-component OMFA).

This study investigated the impact of dietary zeolite supplementation on growth, cecal microbiota and digesta viscosity, digestive enzymes, carcass traits, blood constituents, and antioxidant parameters of broilers. A completely randomized design was used with 240 one-day-old broiler chicks randomly assigned to three dietary treatments (0%, 1.5%, and 3% zeolite as a feed additive) with four replicates of 20 chicks each.

Flaxseed oil contains elevated levels of omega-3 fatty acids (n-3 FA), which have been shown to impact reproductive performance. This study aimed to determine the effects of a flaxseed oil-based supplement on reproductive parameters, feeding behavior, and lipid profile in beef heifers. Sixty Angus and Simmental × Angus heifers (14 months old ± 2 months), blocked by full body weight (BW; 396.
