Background: Headache is one of the leading causes of disability in worldwide and in China, and the second most burden disease of the nervous system after stroke. We aimed to analyze the global trends in the burden of headache disorders, migraine and TTH among people in China in an international context.
Methods: Data were taken from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Study 2021 database to examine trends in the incidence, prevalence, and disability-adjusted life year of headache disorders.
Results: In the context of a large scale in the world, headache is currently in a state of high incidence in China, and female middle-aged and young patients are the main body of this disease.
Conclusions: Need to focus on the vulnerable population in China, while formulating effective health policies and developing good treatment measures to reduce the incidence of headache disorders and improve the DALYs rate of headache.

Background: Dengue fever remains the most significant vector-borne disease in Southeast Asia, imposing a substantial burden on public health systems. Global warming and increased international mobility may exacerbate the disease's prevalence. Furthermore, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic may have influenced the epidemiological patterns of dengue.

Background: With antiretroviral therapy, people with HIV can live a normal lifespan and not transmit HIV. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program provides care for over half of people with HIV in the United States.
Objective: To estimate how many HIV infections could result from cessation of Ryan White services or interruptions lasting 18 to 42 months.

Parasitic diseases continue to be a major public health burden, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. With the emergence of drug-resistant strains and limitations of current therapies, there is a growing interest in natural products as alternative treatment options. Coumarins, a diverse class of plant-derived secondary metabolites, have shown significant potential as antiparasitic agents.

Compartmental infectious disease models are used to calculate disease transmission, estimate underlying rates, forecast future burden, and compare benefits across intervention scenarios. These models aggregate individuals into compartments, often stratified by characteristics to represent groups that might be intervention targets or otherwise of particular concern. Ideally, model calculation could occur at the most demanding resolution for the overall analysis, but this may be infeasible due to availability of computational resources or empirical data.

Background: Dengue and chikungunya are arboviral diseases with overlapping clinical characteristics. Dengue virus (DENV) is endemic in Colombia, and in 2014/2015, the chikungunya virus (CHIKV) caused an epidemic that resulted in over 350,000 cases. Since then, both viruses have been actively co-circulating.
