Eczema Herpeticum (EH) or Kaposi's Varicelliform eruption (KVE) is a severe viral infection that occurs when herpes simplex virus infects an inflamed skin, most often occurring in patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) or other inflammatory skin conditions. To discern various primary dermatoses in which KVE occurred and to study the clinical features, course, and response to specific antiviral treatment along with a course of the primary dermatoses during the episode of KVE. Data was collected in the Dermatology Out-patient department of a tertiary care center in Northern India from December 2017 to March 2024, and it was tabulated and analysed.

Background: Dyspnea is a common clinical symptom and cause of outpatient and inpatient presentations to the clinic. Diagnostic and therapeutic challenges appear, when additional diseases appear that are themselves associated with subjectively perceptible dyspnea. We report on a young woman with orthopnea as a trigger of a diagnostic cascade of various diseases.

Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) offer a multifaceted approach to treating immune-mediated skin diseases by modulating the immune system and promoting tissue regeneration. Specifically, their ability to differentiate into multiple cell types such as keratinocytes and fibroblasts, modulate immune responses, and release growth factors and cytokines underscores their potential in treating a wide range of immune-related skin conditions. ADMSCs significantly reduced various aspects of psoriasis, including scaling, thickness, and erythema.

International studies describe considerable multi-faceted burdens for patients living with psoriasis vulgaris. However, there is few research on the experience in the life of patients with psoriasis vulgaris in Japan, particularly regarding psychosocial impacts when symptoms are visible parts of their body. A qualitative descriptive study using semi-structured one-on-one interviews was conducted with 23 patients.
