Radiation exposure initiates a cascade of reactions, including the release of reactive oxygen species, DNA double-strand breaks, and cellular apoptosis, leading to cell death, tissue damage, and potentially the development of cancer. Consequently, there is an urgent need to develop highly effective and low-toxicity radioprotective agents. Traditional chemically synthesized protective agents face significant limitations in clinical applicability due to their pronounced off-target toxicity, narrow therapeutic window, and high production costs.

Achieving precise intratumoral accumulation and coordinated activation remains a major challenge in nanomedicine. Photothermal therapy (PTT) provides spatiotemporal control, yet its efficacy is hindered by heterogeneous distribution of PTT agents and limited synergy with other modalities. Here, we develop a dual-activation nanoplatform (IrO-P) that integrates exogenous photothermal stimulation with endogenous tumor microenvironment (TME)-responsive catalysis for synergistic chemodynamic therapy (CDT) and ferroptosis induction.

Predicting Antibody-Antigen (Ab-Ag) docking and structure-based design represent significant long-term and therapeutically important challenges in computational biology. We present SAGERank, a general, configurable deep learning framework for antibody design using Graph Sample and Aggregate Networks. SAGERank successfully predicted the majority of epitopes in a cancer target dataset.

Globally, new antibiotic development lags behind the rapid evolution of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Given the extensive research and development cycles, high costs, and risks associated with new pharmaceuticals, exploring alternatives to conventional antibiotics and enhancing their efficacy and safety is a promising strategy for addressing challenges in the post-antibiotic era. Previous studies have shown that antimicrobial peptides/peptidomimetics (AMPs) primarily use a membrane-disruption mechanism distinct from conventional antibiotics to exert bactericidal effects.

Dengue virus (DENV) is an important arthropod-borne virus that poses a global health threat, with half of the world's population at risk of infection. Currently, there is a lack of safe and effective vaccines for its prevention. Antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) occurs when cross-reactive antibodies fail to neutralize heterologous DENV serotypes effectively, facilitating viral entry into Fc receptor-bearing cells and leading to more severe disease.
