Chronic lymphocytic inflammation with pontine perivascular enhancement responsive to steroids (CLIPPERS) is a brainstem syndrome marked by punctate 'pepper-and-salt' enhancement on MRI and corticosteroid responsiveness. Evidence suggests that CLIPPERS may represent a cancer-related immune reaction, occurring before tumour detection, in association with active malignancy or after treatment. We report the first case associated with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).

The diffuse neuroendocrine system (DNES) consists of dispersed neuroendocrine (NE) cells that bridge nervous, immune, and endocrine pathways across organs. Evolutionarily, DNES traces to primitive metazoans where single cells combined neural and immune roles, later diversifying into specialized vertebrate NE cells. Hallmark traits include dense-core granules, amine metabolism, "salt-and-pepper" chromatin, and regulation by ASCL1, NEUROG3, and INSM1.

This paper presents a new hybrid method for concealing images within a cover image using Integer Wavelet Transform and Singular Value Decomposition to enhance the imperceptibility and robustness of hidden images within a cover image. A custom graphical user interface has been developed to aid in evaluating performance metrics, allowing users to assess how various noise conditions affect stego images interactively. The technique shows minimal distortion with a Mean Squared Error of 9.

Sunflower seed bezoars are an indigestible mass created after consuming several unshelled sunflower seeds. We present the case of an 11-year-old who visited the emergency department with abdominal pain, constipation, and rectal bleeding. The rectal exam findings were consistent with a presumed stool ball.
