Article Abstract
tRNA-derived small RNA (tsRNA) is a recently discovered small non-coding RNA (ncRNA) molecule that widely exists in prokaryotic and eukaryotic transcriptomes and is produced by specific cleavage of mature tRNA or precursor tRNA. In recent years, with the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, tsRNA has been found to have a variety of biological functions, including gene expression regulation, stress signal activation, etc. In addition, it has been found that these molecules are abnormally expressed in various diseases and participate in various pathological processes, which play an important role. At present, more and more studies have shown that the expression level of tsRNA changes significantly during the development of neurogenetic diseases. This review provides an overview of the classification and biological functions of tsRNAs, with a particular emphasis on their roles in neurogenetic disorders and their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Despite the nascent stage of tsRNA research, their relevance to the diagnosis and treatment of neurogenetic diseases warrants further investigation.

Misophonia is a condition characterized by intense negative emotional reactions to trigger sounds and related stimuli. In this study, adult listeners (N = 15) with a self-reported history of misophonia symptoms and a control group without misophonia (N = 15) completed listening judgements of recorded misophonia trigger stimuli using a standard scale. Participants also completed an established questionnaire of misophonia symptoms, the Misophonia Questionnaire (MQ).

Background: Lateral malleolar avulsion fracture (LMAF) and subfibular ossicle (SFO) are distinct entities that both present as small bone fragments near the lateral malleolus on imaging, yet require different treatment strategies. Clinical and radiological differentiation is challenging, which can impede timely and precise management. On imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the diagnostic gold standard for differentiating LMAF from SFO, whereas radiological differentiation on computed tomography (CT) alone is challenging in routine practice.

Design, Setting, And Participants: Participants aged 18 years or older were recruited across Germany between February 22 and June 4, 2024, if they had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or systemic lupus erythematosus and reported psychological distress and reduced quality of life.
