Purpose: To discuss the technique and outcome of what the authors called the "flap-in-flap" technique and report its safety as a procedure for correction of post-laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) myopic regression.
Methods: Seven eyes of 4 patients were included in this study. All patients had previously undergone LASIK for compound myopic astigmatism using the Moria M2 micro-keratome (Moria) 8 to 12 years prior to presentation.

Background: Although magnification is an advantage of robotic liver resection (RLR) as it enables precise surgery, the direction of parenchymal dissection, the vascular anatomy, and the tumor location can sometimes be lost. Extended reality (XR) has advantages over other navigation systems in terms of spatial awareness, sharing, and simplicity, and it also has the potential to overcome some of the limitations of RLR. METHODS: In this video, we demonstrate innovative RLR with XR by three separate surgeons.

This study presents a medico-legal case study of an infant who died as a result of intestinal volvulus, a rare but severe complication secondary to the ingestion of multiple magnets and button batteries. The mutual attraction of magnets through adjacent intestinal loops, compounded by the corrosive effects of button batteries, can precipitate rapid and irreversible damage to the gastrointestinal wall. A comprehensive review of the literature on documented pediatric cases involving the ingestion of magnets and button batteries was undertaken to compare the spectrum and frequency of complications.

Purpose: To correlate rectal MRI findings with endoscopic margin status and depth of invasion in patients undergoing endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for rectal adenomas and early rectal cancers.
Methods: Pre-treatment MRIs of patients with colonoscopy-detected polyps and early rectal cancer undergoing curative-intent ESD from 2018 to 2023 were re-interpreted by two radiologists (3- and 25-years' experience) blinded to outcomes. MRI features assessed included largest and smallest length, T2 signal intensity, degree of wall attachment, diffusion restriction and apparent diffusion coefficient values.
