The steer-by-wire (SbW) system, as the core component of vehicle steering, needs to track the front wheel angle accurately. To mitigate the angle tracking accuracy degradation caused by D-Q axes coupling, time-varying motor electrical parameters, and load disturbance, a fractional-order adaptive fuzzy decentralized tracking control (FAFDTC) strategy is proposed in this paper. First, considering time-varying motor parameters, D-Q axes coupling, and fractional-order characteristics of components, a fractional-order SbW interconnected system is constructed to enhance its ability to characterize nonlinearities, time-varying dynamics, and system coupling.

Dialogue is an ideal setting for changing linguistic representations thanks to the repeated use of new words and meanings. Two experiments were conducted to examine the extent to which new semantic relationships created during dialogue may change preexisting representations in long-term semantic memory after a dialogue. For this purpose, we developed an interactive agreement referential task to create new semantic relationships in dialogue between two words by associating them to a single picture.

Limiting cognitive resources negatively impacts motor learning, but its cognitive mechanism is still unclear. Previous studies failed to differentiate its effect on explicit (or cognitive) and implicit (or procedural) aspects of motor learning. Here, we designed a dual-task paradigm requiring participants to simultaneously perform a visual working memory task and a visuomotor rotation adaptation task to investigate how cognitive load differentially impacted explicit and implicit motor learning.

In the zebrafish larval toxicity model, phenotypic changes induced by chemical exposure can potentially be explained and predicted by the analysis of gene expression changes at sub-phenotypic concentrations. The increase in knowledge of gene pathway-specific effects arising from the zebrafish transcriptomic model has the potential to enhance the role of the larval zebrafish as a component of Integrated Approaches to Testing and Assessment (IATA). In this paper, we compared the transcriptomic responses of triphenyl phosphate between two standard exposure paradigms, the Zebrafish Embryo Toxicity (ZET) and General and Behavioural Toxicity (GBT) assays.
