Background Simulation-based training plays a critical role in the acquisition of airway management skills in undergraduate medical education. Peyton's Four-Step Approach (PFSA) and Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP) are two structured, evidence-based methodologies used in simulation training. While both have shown educational benefits, few studies have directly compared their effectiveness across both basic procedures, such as laryngeal mask airway (LMA) placement and endotracheal intubation (ETI), and complex procedures, such as fiberoptic intubation (FOI), especially in time-limited massed practice formats.

Background: Tracheobronchomegaly, also known as Mounier-Kuhn syndrome (MKS), is a rare congenital condition characterized by significant dilation of the trachea and main bronchi along with an abnormal wall structure. Diagnosis can be confirmed through computed tomography, pulmonary function tests, and diagnostic bronchoscopy. Currently, there is no curative treatment for MKS; thus, symptomatic and supportive care remain the primary therapeutic approaches.

Treacher-Collins syndrome (TCS) presents significant challenges in airway management due to craniofacial abnormalities that often worsen with age. We describe the anesthetic management of a three-year-old male with TCS and no history of corrective surgery. Ketamine was used to facilitate vascular access and achieve adequate anesthetic depth.

Background: Awake intubation using a flexible bronchoscope is a well-established technique in the operating room but remains underutilized in the Emergency Department (ED), despite its potential benefits in managing anticipated difficult airways.
Case Presentation: We describe three cases in which awake fiberoptic intubation was successfully performed in the ED setting. The first involved an elderly woman with caustic ingestion and progressive oropharyngeal edema.

Background: Fibreoptic bronchoscope (FOB) is considered complex to learn and operate, and it remains controversial whether videolaryngoscopy can be used as an alternative to FOB for awake tracheal intubation (ATI).
Aims: The Objective is to compare the effectiveness of Safe Easy Endotracheal kit-flexible (SEEK)/video laryngoscopy and FOB in ATI.
Methods: We conducted a pragmatic, multicentre, non-blinded, randomized, parallel-group clinical trial in Shanghai and Putian, China.
