Intracranial calcifications (ICCs) are a characteristic neuropathological feature of several congenital viral infections, including Zika virus (ZIKV), cytomegalovirus (CMV), and lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV). These lesions are linked to severe neurodevelopmental outcomes, such as microcephaly, epilepsy, and cognitive deficits, yet the mechanisms underlying their formation and resolution remain unclear. ICCs are thought to arise from an imbalance in osteogenic and osteolytic signaling in the developing brain.

Home parenteral nutrition (HPN) is a life-sustaining therapy traditionally used as a bridge to enteral autonomy or intestinal transplantation. Objectives: Establishing paediatric DRLs is challenging due to sparse data availability. The objective was to assess paediatric fluoroscopic dose levels in Dutch clinical practice, as current diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) need updating following the European Guidelines on DRLs for Paediatric Imaging (PiDRL).
Material And Methods: Air Kerma-area Product (KAP) values were retrospectively collected from paediatric patients (0-18 years) who underwent fluoroscopic procedures in nine Dutch hospitals between 01-01-2017 and 01-06-2021.

The harmonization workshops of the leukemia committee of the Société française des cancers de l'enfant (SFCE) aim to establish practical recommendations based on the one hand, on data from the literature and international recommendations and, on the other hand, by consensus in the absence of formally proven data. Adolescent pubescent girls and young adults undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment may present with heavy uterine bleeding (HUB). Data collected from 25 French centers showed that there was considerable heterogeneity in the management of HUB either in prophylaxis or curative strategy.
