Objectives: We sought to review the outcomes of patients with Ebstein anomaly (EA) after the Fontan operation.
Methods: Patients with EA were identified from a large binational registry about the Fontan operation. Data were collected from hospital records, registry data, and clinical correspondence.

Objective: Limited data are available on treatment of atrial fibrillation during ascending aortic aneurysm and aortic valve surgery. Ablation at the time of isolated aortic valve surgery has a Society of Thoracic Surgeons Class I indication. We sought to determine early and late outcomes of concomitant atrial fibrillation surgery at the time of ascending aortic aneurysm + aortic valve surgery.

Objective: Our objective was to determine the long-term outcomes of concomitant tricuspid valve procedures (TVP) during continuous-flow left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients who received HeartMate II or 3 from 2004 to 2023. Nine patients who had a previous TVP were excluded.

HER2-targeted therapies have dramatically improved outcomes for patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, but their potential for cardiotoxicity remains a critical clinical concern. Early trials reported high rates of cardiac dysfunction, particularly with concomitant anthracycline use, prompting the development of intensive cardiac monitoring strategies. However, emerging evidence suggests that most cardiotoxic events are asymptomatic, reversible, and rarely require permanent treatment discontinuation, particularly with newer agents such as antibody-drug conjugates.

Background: In patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) or aortic valve replacement (AVR), many surgeons are reluctant to open the left atrium for surgical ablation. However, especially in those with persistent AF, a box lesion isolating the entire posterior left atrial wall may be beneficial. Here, we describe our initial experience with a novel closed atrium bipolar radio-frequency left atrial box ablation technique.
