Fatty acid metabolism is critical for numerous biological processes involved in the pathogenesis of glioma. This study aimed to survey the role of ORMDL sphingolipid biosynthesis regulator 2 (ORMDL2) in fatty acid metabolism of glioma cells. The expression of ORMDL2 in glioma and its association with survival rate was detected using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data and Kaplan-Meier survival curve.

Background And Objectives: Atypical and anaplastic meningioma (World Health organization [WHO] Grades II and III) present therapeutic challenges due to their aggressive behavior and high risk of recurrence. This study addressed the lack of data related to the effectiveness and safety of repeated stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in managing high-grade recurrent or residual meningioma.
Methods: This study analyzed data extracted from the medical records of 112 patients (mean age of 57.

Background: The management of large thrombosed unruptured vertebral artery (VA) aneurysms is complex and remains a significant clinical challenge.
Observations: A 46-year-old man presented with a headache and was diagnosed with a thrombosed 28-mm aneurysm in the right VA. The initial treatment with a Pipeline flow diverter stent was followed by parent artery occlusion with coils after the aneurysm had enlarged to 40 mm.

The gold standard for preserving language and cognitive function during complex brain tumor resection is direct electrical stimulation (DES) during awake craniotomy. DES is predominantly utilized for left hemisphere (LH) tumors, where language dominance is most common. However, atypical language dominance and functional reorganization due to tumor growth are increasingly recognized and can complicate preoperative planning.

Objectives: Somatotropinomas are extremely rare in children and frequently associated with genetic causes. Among pituitary gigantism, approximately 30 % are attributed to the aryl hydrocarbon receptor-interacting protein () gene mutations, whereas other genetic causes are less common. These mutations cause more aggressive tumors that are challenging to control with a single intervention and often exhibit resistance to somatostatin analogs (SSAs).
