Ectopic adrenal rests refer to the presence of adrenal tissue outside its normal anatomical location and are usually discovered incidentally on microscopic examination. Literature suggests its occurrence in diverse extrarenal sites, like the genitourinary system and pelvis. Our case describes the rare occurrence of ectopic adrenal rests in the walls of bilateral fallopian tubes of a 43-year-old female patient who presented with a complaint of heavy menstrual bleeding. A total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was performed. Gross examination revealed adenomyosis with multiple fibroids, and the same was confirmed on microscopy. Additionally, the finding of a well-encapsulated lesion on the walls of both tubes made us relook at the fallopian tubes, which showed a small bright yellow area measuring less than 0.3 cm in the walls, which was consistent with ectopic adrenal rests after ruling out the morphological differentials of Walthard cell nests, aggregates of foamy histiocytes, metastatic renal clear cell carcinoma, displaced ovarian luteinized theca cells, heterotopia of ovarian hilus cells. Immunohistochemistry showed positivity for Melan A and CK7 was negative. The present case helps in investigating the lesser-explored aspect of adrenal rest pathology. It also reiterates need for detailed observation of fallopian tubectomy specimens by pathologists during grossing to avoid overlooking of potentially intriguing entities.

Objective: Exosomes are secreted by most cell types and reflect the internal state of their cells of origin, playing crucial roles in the progression of various pathological conditions. Endometriosis is a chronic, estrogen-dependent inflammatory disease characterized by the ectopic presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterus, including in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and peritoneal cavity. It primarily affects women of reproductive age and is often associated with infertility.

Disorders of sex development or hermaphroditism are a condition associated with a discrepancy between genetic, gonadal, and phenotypic sex. Persistent Müllerian duct syndrome (PMDS) is a rare form of male pseudohermaphroditism. Typical features are cryptorchidism and the presence of underdeveloped fallopian tubes, uterus or upper vagina in a male with karyotype 46, XY.

To evaluate and compare pregnancy outcomes following successful fluoroscopy-guided tubal recanalization (FGTR), focusing on spontaneous conception versus intrauterine insemination (IUI). This retrospective cohort study included 139 women aged 21-40 years who underwent FGTR for tubal occlusion between January 2021 and May 2024. After exclusions, 80 women attempted natural conception, and 59 underwent IUI with ovarian stimulation.

Background: Cervical high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL), a precancerous condition, can progress to cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), the most prevalent histological subtype of cervical cancer. Although CSCC most commonly metastasizes via lymphatic or hematogenous routes, contiguous superficial spread to the endometrium, fallopian tubes, and ovaries is rare.
Case Presentation: A 61-year-old postmenopausal woman was referred to our hospital for further evaluation after a positive HPV-16 test and normal ThinPrep Cytologic Test (TCT) results during a routine health examination at an external institution two weeks earlier.

Objective: This study investigated the therapeutic effect of 4-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (4D-HyCoSy) combined with hydrotubation in the treatment of tubal obstruction and the risk factors affecting treatment outcomes.
Methods: Data of 700 fallopian tubes which underwent 4D-HyCoSy at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University from Jul 2018 to Dec 2024 were retrospectively analysed. Subjects (408 fallopian tubes) were the fallopian tubes which were diagnosed with tubal obstruction.
