Article Abstract
Sarcomatoid carcinoma, a rare and aggressive subtype of bladder cancer, accounting for 0.3% of cases, is more aggressive than urothelial carcinomas. Accurate diagnosis, crucial for treatment, can be challenging. We present a characterized case of sarcomatoid carcinoma of the urinary bladder using multimodal imaging and pathology.

While the cancer genome is well-studied, the nongenetic exposome of cancer remains elusive, particularly for regionally prevalent cancers with poor prognosis. Here, by employing a combined knowledge- and data-driven strategy, we profile the chemical exposome of plasma from 53 healthy controls, 14 esophagitis and 101 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients, and 46 esophageal tissues across 12 Chinese provinces, integrating inorganic, endogenous, and exogenous chemicals. We first show that components of the ESCC chemical exposome mediate the relationship between ESCC-related dietary/lifestyle factors and clinic health status indicators.

Background: Belzutifan is a HIF-2ɑ inhibitor approved for the treatment of tumors in von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) syndrome and sporadic metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (spRCC) in the refractory setting. The efficacy and side effects of belzutifan are well-documented from clinical trials, however, real-world data examining the incidence and management of adverse events (AEs) are lacking. Background: Iron metabolism may influence breast cancer development; however, links between iron-related biomarkers and breast cancer remain inconclusive. Given differences in iron status by menopausal status, we examined associations of ferritin and other iron biomarkers, with breast cancer incidence, stratified by menopausal status, in a Korean screening cohort.
Methods: This cohort study included 140,747 Korean women screened for breast cancer from 2011-2020.

Background: Alcohol consumption is a risk factor for certain cancers and is increasing in the United States. We estimated the impact of alcohol consumption on cancer incidence trends in the United States from 2008-2019 across six alcohol-related cancers among men and women.
Methods: Average daily alcohol consumption (ADC) was calculated from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS, 1998-2009) and adjusted to per capita sales data to account for underreporting alcohol use.
