An appropriate diagnosis cannot be obtained unless these GFs are articulated and inventive solutions are devised.

Background: In 2023, Mayotte, a French department in the Mozambique channel, experienced a long drought that led to potable water restrictions. Although the French vaccination schedule makes polio vaccination compulsory for children, the large proportion of migrants on the island coupled with the water crisis raised concerns about the establishment of poliovirus transmission chains. Therefore, a surveillance was implemented to detect polioviruses in sewage sampled in the two main wastewater treatment plants.

Salicylic acid (SA) is a critical phytohormone involved in plant growth, development, and defense responses, making its precise quantification essential for both agricultural management and environmental monitoring. Here, we report a novel label-free near-infrared aptasensor (NIRApt) for the rapid and sensitive detection of SA, utilizing a rationally selected triphenylmethane (TPM) dye. Through systematic screening, ethyl violet (EV) was identified as the optimal fluorophore, showing pronounced fluorescence enhancement upon binding to a SA-specific aptamer.

Background: Children and adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often face structural and psychological barriers in accessing medical care, including economic costs, long wait times, and stress of attending new medical environments. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of telehealth services to overcome these challenges. However, few studies have assessed the satisfaction levels of children and adolescents diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders and their caregivers when they use telepsychiatry, particularly in Japan.

Background: Classification of rose species and verities is a challenging task. Rose is used worldwide for various applications, including but not restricted to skincare, medicine, cosmetics, and fragrance. This study explores the potential of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) for species and variety classification of rose flowers, leveraging its advantages such as minimal sample preparation, real-time analysis, and remote sensing.
