The global rise of mosquito-borne diseases and widespread resistance to existing insecticides highlight the urgent need for novel, field-relevant mosquitocides. Here, we report the development and validation of a high-throughput, in vivo screening assay capable of evaluating adult mosquito toxicity across large chemical libraries. Utilizing a 96-well plate format, this assay enables simultaneous testing of hundreds of compounds per run using both net and filter paper substrates, with direct measurement of adult mosquito knockdown and mortality via tarsal contact - an exposure route highly relevant to real-world vector control tools such as long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) and indoor residual spraying (IRS).

Introduction: Many clinical data networks often focus on a single use-case or disease. By contrast, the TriNetX Dataworks-USA Network contains real-world clinical information that can be applied to multiple research questions and use cases. The purpose of this study is to describe the Network's characteristics, as well as its generalizability to the US population, particularly the healthcare-seeking population.

Objective: Rare diseases collectively affect approximately 30 million people in the United States. Despite advances in genomic medicine, early diagnosis is challenging because of limited awareness of, accessibility to, and disparities in health care resources. We assessed the real-world experiences of patients with rare diseases in Pennsylvania and evaluated the effect of delayed diagnosis on psychosocial and financial burdens.

Background: No standardized strategy for integrating κ-free light chain (κ-FLC) index into routine cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diagnostics has yet been established.
Objective: To determine agreement between κ-FLC index and CSF-restricted oligoclonal bands (OCB), and to identify κ-FLC index range where second-line OCB testing is needed.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted in patients who had κ-FLC measurement between December 2023 and December 2024 at the Medical University of Innsbruck.
