Article Abstract

The therapeutic effect of EUS-Guided Pancreatic Pseudocyst Drainage (EUS-PPD) is widely recognized, and intraoperative stent displacement is a rare but potentially serious condition. We report a case of the cyst stent displace into the cyst cavity during EUS-PPD, we successfully reduced the stent in time under the guidance of EUS and fluoroscopy in the final.

A 25-year-old morbidly obese female and heavy smoker sustained a traumatic right knee dislocation after falling down a stairwell. Initial radiography revealed posteromedial tibial displacement with valgus deformity with resultant vascular compromise. Despite closed reduction, sustained arterial compromise persisted, with weak pulses and cold extremity.

Background: To improve the prognosis of patients with obstructive colon cancer, performing neoadjuvant chemotherapy after self-expanding metallic stent (SEMS) placement followed by elective surgery is currently one of the treatment methods for obstructive colon cancer. However, the oncological risks of this treatment approach are currently unclear. To evaluate the oncological risks of this treatment model by detecting changes in circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) during the stent placement combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy process.

Purpose: Fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair (fEVAR) is widely used to treat complex abdominal aortic aneurysms, requiring renal artery stenting. However, complications such as occlusion can occur within the renal arteries. This study examines the effect of respiration-induced deformations, using patient-specific models and computational simulations.

Coronary obstruction (CO) is a rare but fatal complication after transcatheter aortic valve implantation. "Prophylactic" chimney stenting is effective in patients with high CO risk; however, concerns about future coronary access and stent thrombosis have emerged. We experienced a case in which intravascular ultrasound enabled real-time monitoring of displaced native leaflets during a self-expandable transcatheter heart valve expansion, consequently avoiding chimney stenting.

Background: Placement of a support tube during pancreaticojejunal anastomosis has been shown to reduce the incidence of postoperative pancreatic fistula in patients with a non-dilated pancreatic duct. However, increasing reports of long-term complications, such as the presence of an indwelling support tube in the anastomosis, have raised concerns. Despite this, short-term complications, such as gastrointestinal perforation in the absence of tube displacement, remain relatively rare.
