Background: Remote services (in which the patient and staff member are not physically colocated) and digital services (in which a patient encounter is digitally mediated in some way) were introduced extensively when the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. We undertook a longitudinal qualitative study of the introduction, embedding, evolution and abandonment of remote and digital innovations in United Kingdom general practice. This synoptic paper summarises study design, methods, key findings, outputs and impacts to date.

A detailed understanding of the composition and polymerization mechanism of elemental sulfur remains a decades long unresolved question for modern chemistry. However, the dynamic nature of molten sulfur significantly complicates its accurate characterization. To overcome this challenge, we performed the first comprehensive molecular dynamics (MD) simulations using a ReaxFF reactive force field specifically parameterized to capture the complex ring-opening polymerization dynamics of elemental sulfur.

Brain Tumor Segmentation (BTS) is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, but existing CNN and Transformer-based methods often struggle with feature fusion and limited training data. While recent large-scale vision models like Segment Anything Model (SAM) and CLIP offer potential, SAM is trained on natural images, lacking medical domain knowledge, and its decoder struggles with accurate tumor segmentation. To address these challenges, we propose the Medical SAM-Clip Grafting Network (MSCG), which introduces a novel SC-grafting module.

Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) is an evolving tool for comprehensive proteomic analyses across tissues. Despite the widespread use of LC-MS in dermatology, full-thickness human skin remains challenging to analyse. The skin extracellular matrix (ECM) presents two major obstacles: the extensive crosslinking complicates protein extraction and the high abundance of ECM proteins can mask lower-abundance proteins, reducing identification numbers.

Background: Kienböck's disease poses challenges in plate placement during radial shortening osteotomy due to steep metaphyseal inclinations of the distal radius. While coronal plane analyses have been extensively studied, sagittal plane deformities remain underexplored. This study addresses the anatomical variations in the sagittal plane associated with Kienböck's disease.
