The dependence of the ratio between the B_{s}^{0} and B^{+} hadron production fractions, f_{s}/f_{u}, on the transverse momentum (p_{T}) and rapidity of the B mesons is studied using the decay channels B_{s}^{0}→J/ψϕ and B^{+}→J/ψK^{+}. The analysis uses a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the CMS experiment in 2018 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 61.6 fb^{-1}. The f_{s}/f_{u} ratio is observed to depend on the B p_{T} and to be consistent with becoming asymptotically constant at large p_{T}. No rapidity dependence is observed. The ratio of the B^{0} to B^{+} meson production fractions, f_{d}/f_{u}, is also measured, for the first time in proton-proton collisions, using the B^{0}→J/ψK^{*0} decay channel. The result is found to be within 1 standard deviation of unity and independent of p_{T} and rapidity, as expected from isospin invariance.

The first search for a heavy neutral spin-1 gauge boson (Z^{'}) with nonuniversal fermion couplings produced via vector boson fusion processes and decaying to tau leptons or W bosons is presented. The analysis is performed using LHC data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, collected from 2016 to 2018 with the CMS experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1}. The data are consistent with the standard model predictions.

The first observation of the Σ^{+}→pμ^{+}μ^{-} decay is reported with high significance using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb^{-1}, collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. A yield of 237±16 Σ^{+}→pμ^{+}μ^{-} decays is obtained, where the uncertainty is statistical only.

A search for resonances in top quark pair (tt-) production in final states with two charged leptons and multiple jets is presented, based on proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC ats=13TeV, corresponding to 138 fb. The analysis explores the invariant mass of thett-system and two angular observables that provide direct access to the correlation of top quark and antiquark spins. A significant excess of events is observed near the kinematictt-threshold compared to the non-resonant production predicted by fixed-order perturbative quantum chromodynamics (pQCD).

The first evidence for the decay B^{-}→D^{**0}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ} is obtained using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}, at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Here, the D^{**0} meson represents any of the three excited charm mesons D_{1}(2420)^{0}, D_{2}^{*}(2460)^{0}, and D_{1}^{'}(2400)^{0}. The B^{-}→D^{**0}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ} signal is measured with a significance of 3.
