Objectives: To investigate the therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture (EA) at Zusanli (ST36) acupoint on hyperlipidemia in mice and explore the underlying mechanisms.
Methods: Thirty C57BL/6J mice were equally randomized into normal diet group, high-fat diet (HFD) group, and EA group. The changes in blood lipids and serum malondialdehyde (MDA) content of the mice were evaluated, and histopathological changes and lipid accumulation in the liver were observed using Oil red O staining (ORO).

Background: To review the biological functions of ergothioneine (ERGO), its correlation with plasma levels in cognitive frailty, and research progress in treating frailty and cognitive impairment, with the aim of providing a reference for ERGO application in cognitive frailty treatment.
Methods: A comprehensive review of existing literature on ERGO's chemical structure, sources, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, and its role in cognitive frailty was conducted. Clinical trial data and metabolomic studies were also analyzed to understand ERGO's therapeutic potential.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: White matter injury (WMI) following ischemic stroke represents a critical pathological determinant of persistent neurological impairment, with current therapeutic options remaining limited. Buyang Huanwu Decoction (BYHWD), a time-honored formulation historically deployed in traditional Chinese medicine to address post-stroke sequelae, exhibits documented neuroprotective efficacy; nevertheless, its mechanistic actions governing post-ischemic white matter restoration and remyelination are yet to be fully deciphered.
Aim Of The Study: This study aimed to elucidate whether BYHWD facilitates post-ischemic white matter restoration via TREM2-dependent mechanisms.

Purpose: Recently, research on the management of Parkinson's disease (PD), particularly non-motor symptoms (NMS), has been increasingly reported. This systematic review and network meta-analysis (NMA) aimed to evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture interventions for NMS in PD patients to identify the most effective strategy.
Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on acupuncture for NMS in PD were retrieved up to July 31, 2024, across eight databases: PubMed, Embase (OVID), Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, VIP Database, and Wanfang Database.
