In recent years, higher requirements have been placed on the response characteristics of X-ray detectors in the field of medical diagnostic imaging. Due to this, high sensitivity, high attenuation coefficient and low cost detection materials need to be developed. In this paper, the geometric model of a detector was established by Geant4 code. The absorption efficiency and mass attenuation coefficient of MAPbBr crystals were calculated in the energy range of 30 keV to 100 keV. Compared with the mass attenuation coefficient of the NIST database, the deviation was within 1.39%. The signal charge number and detection sensitivity of the X-ray interaction with the MAPbBr crystal ware calculated. Compared with the CdTe crystal and α-Se, the MAPbBr crystal still had a larger detection sensitivity under a smaller applied electric field, which was approximately 9 times higher than that of α-Se. This result indicated that the detection sensitivity could be greatly improved by using a high atomic number and high charge mobility-lifetime product. Based on the simulation results, the 2 mm thick MAPbBr crystal exhibited the highest detection sensitivity at 60 keV X-rays, which was in agreement with the experimental results.

Background: Lateral malleolar avulsion fracture (LMAF) and subfibular ossicle (SFO) are distinct entities that both present as small bone fragments near the lateral malleolus on imaging, yet require different treatment strategies. Clinical and radiological differentiation is challenging, which can impede timely and precise management. On imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the diagnostic gold standard for differentiating LMAF from SFO, whereas radiological differentiation on computed tomography (CT) alone is challenging in routine practice.

A method for determination of ten kinds of sweeteners in soybean products by multi-plug filtration cleanup (-PFC) combined with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) was established. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile (containing 1% formic acid), degreased by using -hexane liquid-liquid extraction and purified by solid phase extraction using an -PFC column (Oasis PRiME HLB). The analytes were separated by using a Waters ACQUITY UPLC® BEH C (2.

Myocarditis is an inflammation of heart tissue. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has emerged as an important non-invasive imaging tool for diagnosing myocarditis, however, interpretation remains a challenge for novice physicians. Advancements in machine learning (ML) models have further improved diagnostic accuracy, demonstrating good performance.

Immunoelectron Microscopy (IEM) is a technique that combines specific immunolabeling with high-resolution electron microscopic imaging to achieve precise spatial localization of biomolecules at the subcellular scale (< 10 nm) by using high-electron-density markers such as colloidal gold and quantum dots. As a core tool for analyzing the distribution of proteins, organelle interactions, and localization of disease pathology markers, it has irreplaceable value, especially in synapse research, pathogen-host interaction mechanism, and tumor microenvironment analysis. According to the differences in labeling sequence and sample processing, the IEM technology system can be divided into two categories: the first is pre-embedding labeling, which optimizes the labeling efficiency through the pre-exposure of antigenic epitopes and is especially suitable for the detection of low-abundance and sensitive antigens; the second is post-embedding labeling, which relies on the low-temperature resin embedding (e.

Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is a powerful analytical technique; however, its quantitative application has been limited by the instability of substrates and significant signal fluctuations. In this study, we demonstrated that 4-aminobenzenethiol (4-ATP) can be quantitatively detected through statistical analysis of SERS signal intensity distributions obtained using citrate-stabilized AuNPs, biotin-functionalized AuNPs, and gold nanoparticle (AuNP)-bound polystyrene (PS) microparticles. Raman spectra obtained in bulk aqueous solution under static conditions showed that the detection sensitivity of 4-ATP using AuNP-bound PS microparticles was approximately twice that achieved with citrate-stabilized AuNPs or biotin-modified AuNPs.
