We report a transparent display based on a metasurface of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs), consisting of a transparent substrate and a layer of Ag NPs deposited by a dielectric film. The Ag NPs metasurface is prepared by a simple and direct annealing process. It presents a deep transmission valley at the wavelength of= 468 nm and enables desired transparent display by projecting the monochromatic image onto the metasurface. We also demonstrate that the formed Ag NPs can be approximated as truncated nanospheres, which have obvious directional scattering properties, and can radiate most of the scattered energy into the backward hemisphere with a relatively large angular beamwidth (the full width at half maximum of the scattered intensity) of ∼90°. Therefore, the fabricated displays possess wide viewing angles and high brightness characteristics. Additionally, the transmission modes can be red-shifted to the wavelength of= 527 nm by controlling the thickness of the deposited dielectric film. This approach using traditional thin film deposition and moderate annealing processing techniques enables simple, low-cost, and scalable fabrication in large areas for transparent displays.

Mistreatment of students has been historically documented as common in U.S. medical schools, but graduate questionnaire (GQ) data from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) displays high numbers of students who have experienced mistreatment but not reported the incident.

The crystallization of lead zirconate titanate thin films on thick, rigid glass is previously demonstrated using flash lamp annealing to selectively anneal the films, without damaging the substrates. In this work, a 2-step process suitable for Schott AF 32 eco glass and Corning Willow glass is developed, both 100 μm thick, the latter of which is compatible with roll-to-roll processes.

Transparent meltable glasses are keenly desired for making color-conversion layer of Mini-LEDs. In this work, transparent luminescent organic glasses were prepared using a new matrix of heptyltriphenylphosphonium bromide (CHBrP, HTPBr). Through doping of a blue dye (9,10-diphenylanthracene, DPA), the resulting glass exhibited a high transparency (92%) and a blue emission at 436 nm.

Unlike ontologies that more frequently adhere to established creation principles, biomedical KGs lack consistent practices for construction, documentation, and dissemination. To address this gap, we introduce a set of evaluation criteria grounded in widely accepted data standards and principles from related fields.

Aims And Objectives: This systematic review and meta-analysis sought to compare the efficacy of lasers with other modalities in skin rejuvenation and resurfacing. Methodology: The database was thoroughly searched, and six articles meeting specific inclusion criteria were selected for meta-analysis. Inclusion criteria comprised studies that compared lasers with other methods, with four studies focusing on laser comparisons and two studies comparing more than two methods.
