Intraoperative electrocorticography (ECoG) represents a crucial tool for improving seizure outcomes during epilepsy surgeries by assisting in localization of the epileptogenic zones. There is a shortage of information in the literature regarding single-center experiences and long-term outcomes after ECoG-guided surgeries. Data are particularly scarce from the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

Digital twins (DTs) are emerging tools for simulating and optimizing therapeutic protocols in personalized nuclear medicine. In this paper, we present a modular pipeline for constructing patient-specific DTs aimed at assessing and improving dosimetry protocols in PRRT such as therapy. The pipeline integrates three components: (i) an anatomical DT, generated by registering patient CT scans with an anthropomorphic model; (ii) a functional DT, based on a physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model created in SimBiology; and (iii) a virtual clinical trial module using GATE to simulate particle transport, image simulation, and absorbed dose distribution.

Introduction: A subset of patients with homonymous hemianopia can consciously perceive motion within their blind visual fields-a phenomenon known as the Riddoch phenomenon. However, the factors predicting this residual motion perception remain poorly understood. This study aims to identify clinical and neuroanatomical predictors of the Riddoch phenomenon in stroke patients.

Background: Airway obstruction is a characteristic spirometric finding in asthma but the clinical significance of other abnormal spirometric patterns is less well described. We aimed to explore pre- and post-bronchodilator (BD) prevalences and clinical characteristics of preserved ratio impaired spirometry (PRISm), dysanapsis and airflow obstruction with low forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV) in children diagnosed with asthma.
Methods: We extracted specialist care data (clinical and spirometry) from the Swedish National Airway Register (n=3301, age 5-17 years).

The Oncotype DX test is standardly used for patients with early-stage, hormone-receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancers to determine the benefit from chemotherapy and the likelihood of distant recurrence. The relationship between Oncotype DX recurrence scores and race/ethnicity is still being studied. This retrospective study aims to evaluate the relationship between Oncotype DX recurrence scores, race/ethnicity, and clinicopathological factors and to support the applicability of the Oncotype DX test for a diverse breast cancer population of Hawaii.
