A simple and efficient vortex-assisted matrix solid phase dispersion with a ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (VA-MSPD-UHPLC-MS/MS) was applied for simultaneous extraction and determination of seven alkaloids and three organic acids from . The optimal extraction conditions of the target components were obtained by Box-Behnken design (BBD) combined with response surface methodology (RSM). The results of the method validation showed that this analytical method displayed good linearity with a correlation coefficient (r) no lower than 0.9990. The recoveries of ten active ingredients from ranged from 95.9% to 103% (RSD ≤ 2.77%). The RSDs of intra-day and inter-day precisions were all below 2.97%. The present method exhibited not only lower solvent and sample usage, but also shorter sample processing and analysis time. Consequently, the developed VA-MSPD-UHPLC-MS/MS method could be successfully and effectively used for the extraction and analysis of ten active components from .

Background: Osteoporosis (OP) is a chronic, systemic skeletal disorder characterized by progressive bone loss and microarchitectural deterioration, which increases fracture susceptibility and presents a challenging set of global healthcare problems. Current pharmacological interventions are limited by adverse effects, high costs, and insufficient long-term efficacy. Here, we identify snow crab shell-derived polypeptides (SCSP) as a potent osteoprotective agent.

Simultaneous sensing and quantification of pharmaceutically active compounds (PhACs) are crucial for protecting the environment and maintaining long-term ecological sustainability. This study focuses on the bio-based synthesis of BiS-ZnO nanocomposites (BiS-ZnO(bio)) using bio-extract for dual-analyte selective and simultaneous electrochemical monitoring of phenylbutazone (PBZ) and sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) in the environmental matrices. BiS-ZnO(bio) exhibited ZnO(bio) nanostructures embedded on BiS(bio) nanorods with an average rod length of 1409.

Drug-target interaction (DTI) prediction is essential for the development of novel drugs and the repurposing of existing ones. However, when the features of drug and target are applied to biological networks, there is a lack of capturing the relational features of drug-target interactions. And the corresponding multimodal models mainly depend on shallow fusion strategies, which results in suboptimal performance when trying to capture complex interaction relationships.

A method for determination of ten kinds of sweeteners in soybean products by multi-plug filtration cleanup (-PFC) combined with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) was established. The sample was extracted with acetonitrile (containing 1% formic acid), degreased by using -hexane liquid-liquid extraction and purified by solid phase extraction using an -PFC column (Oasis PRiME HLB). The analytes were separated by using a Waters ACQUITY UPLC® BEH C (2.

Objectives: There is a wealth of reviews investigating the relations between healthcare worker (HCW) variables and quality of care (QoC) outcomes. Individually, these reviews predominantly focus on one aspect relevant to HCWs' functioning at work, unintentionally contributing to a scattered body of evidence. This umbrella review uses the concept of sustainable employability (SE)-a multidimensional construct that captures an individual's long-term ability to function adequately at work and in the labour market-to integrate existing reviews on the topic, and to examine if and how HCWs' SE is related to QoC.
