To optimize the deployment of Generative Artificial Intelligence in health care, it's essential for health care professionals (HCPs) to understand these technologies' capabilities and constraints. This study explores HCPs' initial impressions and experiences using ChatGPT, a Generative Pre-trained Transformer, in Pediatric Critical Care Units (PICUs). By conducting focus groups with a diverse set of HCPs, we aimed to assess their awareness, utilization, perceived benefits, and concerns about incorporating ChatGPT into their PICUs.

Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the most serious health issues around the world, ranking seventh among the most lethal types of cancer and eleventh among the most common types of cancer worldwide. Traditional therapies-such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy-often yield limited success, especially in the advanced stages of EC, prompting the pursuit of novel and more effective treatment strategies. Immunotherapy has emerged as a promising option; nonetheless, its clinical success is hindered by variable patient responses.

The European Reference Networks (ERNs) initiative was started by the European Commission. The initiative was launched in 2017 in response to the 2011 EU Directive on Cross-Border Healthcare (Directive 2011/24/EU), which emphasized the need to improve healthcare for patients with rare diseases and complex conditions across the European Union. Currently, 24 ERNs are available for rare diseases.
