This paper presents the reverse priority impedance control of manipulators with reference to redundant robots of a given task. The reverse priority kinematic control of redundant manipulators is first expressed in detail. The motion in the joint space is derived following the opposite order compared with the classical task priority-based solution. Then the Cartesian impedance control is combined with the reverse priority impedance control to solve the reverse hierarchical impedance controlled, so that the Cartesian impedance behavior can be divided into the primary priority impedance control and the secondary priority impedance control. Furthermore, the secondary impedance control task will not disturb the primary impedance control task. The motion in the joint space is affected following the opposite order and working in the corresponding projection operators. The primary impedance control tasks are implemented at the end, so as to avoid the possible deformations caused by the singularities occurring in the secondary impedance control tasks. Hence, the proposed reverse priority impedance control of manipulator can achieve the desired impedance control tasks with proper hierarchy. In this paper, the simulation experiments of the manipulator will verify the proposed reverse priority control algorithm.

Accurate brain signal recording and precise electrode placement are critical for the success of neuromodulation therapies such as deep brain stimulation (DBS). Addressing these challenges requires deep brain electrodes that provide high-quality, stable recordings while remaining compatible with high-resolution medical imaging modalities like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Moreover, such electrodes shall be cost-effective, easy to manufacture, and patient-compatible.

Objectives: To explore the relationships between cardiac parameters and body composition indices, identifying predictors of subclinical cardiac systolic dysfunction.
Methods: Using anthropometric and serological parameters, echocardiography, and body composition analysis, this study evaluated metabolic profiles, cardiac remodeling patterns, and body composition characteristics in young adult obese patients, while quantifying the correlations between cardiac parameters and body composition indices. Subclinical left ventricular systolic dysfunction was defined as global longitudinal strain (GLS) < 18%.

Achieving a crack-free, high-surface-area photoanode is essential for maximizing the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). In this work, rutile titanium dioxide (rTiO) nanoflowers were synthesized hydrothermally and then conformally coated with copper(I) oxide (CuO) by RF magnetron sputtering to seal pre-existing cracks and to create a nanothorn surface favorable for dye adsorption. Systematic control of the sputtering time identified 60 min as optimal condition, yielding a photoanode thickness of about 6.

: The therapeutic potential of vegetarian diets in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) remains understudied in Asian populations. This randomized controlled trial aimed to evaluate the effects of a culturally adapted 6-month lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet (LOV-D) on hepatic steatosis and cardiometabolic risk factors through weight loss. : In this randomized trial, 220 Chinese adults with MASLD were assigned to LOV-D ( = 110) or an omnivore diet ( = 110) for 6 months.

In this paper, we design and study a temperature-controlled switchable terahertz perfect absorber based on vanadium dioxide (VO), which shows excellent multi-band performance, high sensitivity and intelligent thermal management. The device consists of four layers in a metal-dielectric composite structure, which are a metal reflection layer, silicon dielectric layer, VO phase change layer and top metal pattern layer from bottom to top. The simulation results show that when VO is in the low-temperature insulation state, the absorption rate of the device is as high as 99.
