Bismuth-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have always attracted the attention of many researchers. Here, we first report a crystalline Bi-MOF (Bi-TDPAT) based on a flexible triazine-polycarboxylic linker 2,4,6-tris(3,5-dicarboxylphenylamino)-1,3,5-triazine (HTDPAT) and bismuth nitrate; its crystallite quality is adequately good and the diffraction data can be collected directly by single crystal X-ray diffraction rather than 3D electron diffraction. The structure of Bi-TDPAT belongs to a novel topology type . Notably, the synthesis scale of Bi-TDPAT can be expanded, and sub-gram synthesis can be realized. At the same time, we synthesized a microcrystalline material Bi-TATAB utilizing 2,4,6-tris(4-carboxylphenylamino)-1,3,5-triazine (HTATAB). The structures of the two materials were characterized by several microanalysis tools. Considering that Bi-TDPAT is a blue light-emitting material with a broad emission peak, we prepared a white light emitting composite material Eu/Tb@Bi-TDPAT by encapsulating Eu(III)/Tb(III) in Bi-TDPAT. In addition, the fluorescence sensing functions of Bi-TDPAT and Bi-TATAB were explored. The results showed that they could detect and recognize various nitrophenols, and the optimal limit of detection is as low as 0.21 μM, which can be reused even after five cycles. Energy competitive absorption (CA) and photo-induced electron transfer are the main sensing mechanisms. By comparing and analyzing the properties of these two bismuth-based crystalline materials, we believe that this work also provides inspiration for the synthesis and development of bismuth-based MOF in the future.

This study presents a novel variable gain intermittent boundary control (VGIBC) approach for stabilizing delayed stochastic reaction-diffusion Cohen-Grossberg neural networks (SRDCGNN). In contrast to traditional constant gain intermittent boundary control (CGIBC) methods, the proposed VGIBC framework dynamically adjusts the control gain based on the operational duration within each control cycle, thereby improving adaptability to variations in work interval lengths. The time-varying control gain is designed using a piecewise interpolation method across work intervals, defined by a finite set of static gain matrices.

Silk fibroin (SF)-based flexible electronic/photonic materials have gained great attention in wearable devices and soft sensors. However, it remains challenging to understand the molecular interaction mechanisms and subsequently fabricate SF-based flexible materials that exhibit fluorescence, humidity sensitivity, and conductivity properties. In this study, by incorporating lanthanide europium ion (Eu), the design and fabrication of a flexible, fluorescent, and conductive SF membrane was proposed.

Background: The rapid advancement of next-generation sequencing has significantly expanded the landscape of precision medicine. However, health care professionals face increasing challenges in keeping pace with the growing body of oncological knowledge and integrating it effectively into clinical workflows. Precision oncology decision support (PODS) tools aim to assist clinicians in navigating this complexity, yet their current functionalities only partially address clinical needs.

In contrast to metal ions that have been routinely used to construct metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), anions have rarely been used as essential coordination centers in supramolecular organic frameworks (SOFs). In this work, we present a SOF, , based on the coordination of chloride anions and a flexible oligopyrrole. Owing to the multiple interactions between individual oligopyrrole molecules and an A-B-C-style stacking of the 2D honeycomb layers, crystalline exhibits reasonable thermal stability and retains its structure upon desolvation.

Bimorph soft actuators, traditionally composed of two materials with distinct responses to external stimuli, often face durability challenges due to structural incompatibility. Here, we propose an alternative design employing free-standing, isostructural heterogeneous Janus (IHJ) films that harmonize stability with high actuation efficiency. These IHJ films were fabricated through a vacuum self-assembly process, consisting of TiCT MXene nanosheets and hybrid graphene oxide (GO)-biomass bacterial cellulose (BC), with a well-matched two-dimensional lattice structure.
