Article Abstract

We report on ultra-high harmonic mode-locking with a repetition rate of up to ∼1 THz by combining a microfiber knot resonator (MKR) and a Lyot filter. The harmonic mode-locked pulses are tunable by changing the diameter of MKR, which agrees well with the theoretical calculation. Our results indicate that the ultrafast pulse generation mechanism is due to the dissipative four-wave mixing mode-locking technique. This work provides a simple and efficient scheme to generate tunable ultrafast pulses with a high repetition rate for various applications, such as THz generation and ultrafast data communication.

Understanding how laying hens interact with functional resources-such as drinkers, feeders, perches, nest boxes, and wintergardens-is essential for meeting their physiological needs and enabling species-specific behaviors. This knowledge is crucial for poultry welfare assessments and precision livestock management. However, traditional ethological data collection methods, including direct observation and manual video analysis, are labor-intensive, prone to observer bias, and impractical for individual-level tracking.

Currently, theoretical works fail to accurately reproduce the experimental results for the lattice thermal conductivity of boron arsenides (BAs, the natural and isotopically enriched ones). We investigated the microscopic mechanisms of the ultrahigh lattice thermal conductivity () and its unexpected strong temperature-dependence (-dependence) in cubic BAs using the first principles theory within the framework of the Wigner transport theory combined with temperature-dependent interatomic force constants (-IFCs). The contributions of three- and four-phonon scattering processes to the phonon lifetime were included, and temperature-induced phonon renormalization was considered.

Background: Phenazopyridine is used for ancillary pain management in the treatment of goats with obstructive urolithiasis. However, there are no published studies on the pharmacokinetics, safety, or efficacy of phenazopyridine in goats.

Hypothesis/objectives: Determine the pharmacokinetic parameters of phenazopyridine after oral administration in goats with obstructive urolithiasis after tube cystostomy surgery.

To improve the precision of the position and speed estimation in ultra-high-speed (UHS) permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) without position sensors, multiple refinements to the traditional extended electromotive force (EEMF) estimation algorithm are proposed in this paper. The key improvements include discretization compensation, high-frequency harmonic filtering, and the real-time adjustment of the phase-locked loop (PLL) bandwidth. Firstly, a discrete model is introduced to address EMF cross-coupling issues.

In order to study the impact of periodic loads on the vibration performance of the flexible positioning platform in the key mechanisms of the ultra-high acceleration macro-micro motion platform, and to improve the performance and stability of the platform, this paper combined SolidWorks and ANSYS Workbench to conduct modal analysis and harmonic response of the flexible positioning platform. Analysis to obtain its inherent characteristics. The piezoelectric actuator provides the driving force of the micro-motion platform and achieves precise micro-motion displacement positioning, which is used to study the frequency response results of simple harmonic excitation.
