Background And Aims: Silent information regulator 1 (Sirt1) involved in histone stability, transcriptional activity, and translocation. This systematic review aimed to summarize the effects of Resveratrol on Sirt1 expression.
Materials And Methods: Electronic databases including Scopus, Medline and web of knowledge were searched up to March 2020.
Results: Out of 801 studies identified in our search finally 12 articles included. Totally six studies evaluated the effects of resveratrol on SIRT1 gene expression, and six articles investigate protein expression.
Conclusion: The results of the included studies showed that resveratrol supplementation had beneficial effects on protein and gene expression of SIRT1.

Demyelinating diseases, a prevalent group of neurological disorders, lead to impaired nerve conduction and sensorimotor dysfunctions. Despite existing treatments demonstrating some efficacy, their limitations have driven research toward exploring natural remedies. This review summarizes the therapeutic potential of four traditional tonic Chinese herbal medicines-ginsenosides, deer antler polypeptides, resveratrol, and ginkgo leaf extracts-for demyelinating diseases.

Resveratrol is a natural polyphenol known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, but its role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains unclear. Our study integrated network pharmacology, molecular docking, and bioinformatics to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which resveratrol suppresses LUAD through the identification of key targets and pathways. We identified 100 resveratrol-related targets and 50,000 LUAD-related genes from databases, finding 98 overlapping targets.

Purpose Of The Review: This review aimed to summarize current evidence on the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) in the management of obesity and endometriosis, with a focus on dietary patterns such as the Mediterranean and Ketogenic diets, as well as nutritional supplementation. Additionally, it highlights the central role of the clinical nutritionist in implementing individualized, evidence-based interventions within multidisciplinary care.
Recent Findings: Although the literature reports the existence of an inverse relationship between risk of endometriosis and body mass index, clinical evidence jointly reports that a condition of obesity is associated with greater disease severity.

Emerging evidence highlights the potential of bioactive compounds, particularly polyphenols, as adjunctive therapeutic agents in the treatment of pancreatic cancer (PC), one of the most aggressive malignancies. This review focuses on epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and resveratrol due to their extensively documented anticancer activity, favorable safety profiles, and their unique ability to modulate multiple signaling pathways relevant to pancreatic tumorigenesis. Among polyphenols, these two have shown superior anti-cancer activity, epigenetic regulatory effects, and synergy with standard chemotherapies in preclinical pancreatic cancer models.
