Article Abstract

A high loading of Mn(ii)-metalated porphyrin was achievable in a 2D porphyrin-based Mn-MOF induced by an ionic liquid. The excellent stability, sufficient redox potential, atomically dispersed porphyrin Mn(ii) sites, desired CO affinity, high visible light-harvesting and efficient charge separation, endow this MOF with the overall photocatalytic conversion of CO to CH in gas-solid conditions.

Multi-arm rock drilling robots frequently encounter challenges in extreme environments, such as tunnels, where they are subjected to high-frequency impact loads, multi-degree-of-freedom motion coupling, and large-range motion control vibrations. First, we propose a collision-free path planning method that combines an improved genetic algorithm (IGA) and an improved artificial potential field method. This method is based on the kinematic model of the rock drilling robot.

Injectable and tissue adhesive chrysomycin A-laden chitosan hydrogel depot for MRSA-infected wound healing and tumor recurrence prevention.

Collaborative Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta Region Green Pharmaceuticals & College of Pharmaceutical Science, Zhejiang University of Technology, 310014, Hangzhou, China. Electronic address:

Tumor surgery often leads to tumor residue, tissue defects, and drug-resistant bacterial infections, resulting in high recurrence rates and chronic wounds. In this study, an injectable hydrogel was synthesized using glycidyl trimethyl ammonium chloride-chitosan (GCh) and formylbenzoic acid-modified chrysomycin A (CA)-loaded F127 micelles (F127FA-CA). The formation of the hydrogel is achieved through Schiff base conjugation, which occurs between the amino groups present in GCh and the aldehyde groups located on the micelle surfaces.

Balanced biocompatibility in high-viscosity hydroxypropyl methylcellulose-based sponge containing nanoconfined silver citrate nanoparticles.

Int J Biol Macromol

September 2025

Tianjin Key Laboratory of Composite and Functional Materials, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, 300350, PR China. Electronic address:

Balancing antibacterial efficacy, mechanical integrity, and biocompatibility remains a critical challenge in drug release systems for wound dressings. Many antimicrobial agents exhibit inherent cytotoxicity, compromising cell viability and tissue compatibility. To address this, an Absorbable Gelatine Sponge was synthetised based on high-viscosity hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC K100M) and loaded with silver citrate nanorods (AgCit), which confine silver nanoparticles to enable controlled ion release.

Photothermal/GSH-dual-responsive organic quantum dots enabling traceable DNA delivery.

Int J Biol Macromol

September 2025

School of Life Science and Technology, Wuhan Polytechnic University, Wuhan, 430023, China. Electronic address:

Quantum dots, with their superior intrinsic fluorescence and photostability, are emerging as a promising option for cancer gene therapy, diagnosis, and imaging. However, low gene delivery efficiency, insufficient targeting, and responsiveness remain challenges. To address these issues, PEI-based carbon quantum dots (CPNCs) were constructed by crosslinking polyethylenimine quantum dots (PQDs) with carbon quantum dots (CQDs) via disulfide bonds.

Hydrogen sulfide (HS) has been recognized as one of the three main gasotransmitters found extensively in tissues, regulating functions crucial for survival. In many pathological cases, its concentration drops from the intrinsic level, impairing healing and leading to unmet regeneration outcomes. A hybrid microparticle/hydrogel system was developed to sustainably release HS and regulate its level in deprived tissues.
