Background: Rituximab (RTX) has become the first-line therapy for idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN). The safety of low-dose and long-course RTX regimen in elderly patients with IMN remains unknown.
Methods: Sixty-nine IMN patients with anti-M-phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R) antibodies-positive were recruited for this study.

Objective: To evaluate prescribing patterns, toxicities, and outcomes among patients receiving mirvetuximab for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.
Methods: This retrospective study included patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer with high folate receptor alpha expression treated with mirvetuximab at a single institution (2018-2023). Patients were categorized based on treatment immediately preceding mirvetuximab: the taxane group received taxane treatment; the non-taxane group received other therapy.

Background: Pediatric patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases often require immunosuppressive therapy, which increases their susceptibility to infections, including varicella-zoster virus (VZV). While the live attenuated varicella vaccine is contraindicated in most immunocompromised children, the recombinant subunit vaccine, Shingrix, may offer an alternative preventive strategy. However, data on its safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy in pediatric VZV-naïve patients remain limited.

Background: Impaired autophagic flux is an essential contributor to doxorubicin (DOX)-induced cardiotoxicity (DIC). TFEB is recognized as a key regulator of DOX-induced autolysosome accumulation; however, the mechanisms by which DOX suppresses TFEB expression remain unclear. 20-Deoxyingenol (20-DOI) is a small-molecule compound whose potential protective effects against DIC has not yet been elucidated.

Early postoperative seizures, defined as occurring within 7 days after surgery, are a significant complication that occurs following neurosurgical procedures involving cerebral manipulation. As a result, short-term antiseizure medication is typically administered in Japan despite the lack of consensus regarding its prophylactic use. Perampanel hydrate, an α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid receptor antagonist, was recently introduced in an intravenous formulation in Japan, providing new potential for early postoperative seizures prevention during the perioperative period.
