This research has proposed a new Emotion Recognition in Conversation (ERC) model known as Hierarchical Graph Learning for Emotion Recognition (HGLER), built to go beyond the existing approaches that find it difficult to request long-distance context and interaction across different data types. Rather than simply mixing different kinds of information, as is the case with traditional methods, HGLER uses a 2-part graph technique whereby conversations are represented in a 2-fold manner: one aimed at illustrating how various parts of the conversation relate and another for enhancing learning from various types of data. This dual-graph system can represent multimodal data value for value by exploiting the benefits of each type of data yet tracking their interactions.

Diabetic wounds are characterized by complex pathologies, such as vascular changes, nerve damage, and immune dysfunction, which make healing difficult. Hydrogel microspheres have shown great potential in the field of wound treatment due to their excellent biocompatibility, high water content, and soft physical properties. The review summarizes the preparation methods of hydrogel microspheres in detail, including microfluidic technology, spray method, electro spraying, emulsion method, phase separation, photomask method, and 3D printing technology.

An organism's metabolic profile provides vital information pertaining to its physiology or pathology. To monitor these biochemical changes, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy has found success in non-invasively observing metabolite changes within intact samples in an untargeted manner. However, biological samples are chemically complex, comprised of many different constituents (amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids) at varying concentrations depending on physiological and pathological conditions.

Time series clustering finds wide application but is often limited by data quality and the inherent limitations of existing methods. Compared to high-dimensional structured data like images, the low-dimensional features of time series contain less information, and endogenous noise can easily obscure important patterns. When dealing with massive time series data, existing clustering methods often focus on mining associations between sequences.

This study introduces the Skeptical Optimism Scale (SkO) and presents preliminary evidence of its content, construct, and criterion validity. Skeptical optimism refers to dispositional tendencies of having general positive expectations about the future, conditional on critical analysis and in-depth exploration of (potential negative) outcomes. We developed an initial pool of 31 items that explore positive expectations in three main life domains (finding solutions to difficult problems, mastering novel and challenging tasks, and effectively dealing with general life challenges) that were subject to content analysis by eight independent raters.
