Article Abstract
Primary orbital chondromyxoid fibroma is a rarely reported entity. A 34-year-old lady presented with painless, non-axial proptosis of the left eye of 6 months duration. Orbital imaging showed a supero-temporal mass with calcific foci and bone erosion. The mass caused globe compression resulting in choroidal folds. Anterior orbitotomy with complete mass excision was performed. The histopathology revealed a chondromyxoid fibroma. At 12-months follow-up, the patient is doing fine with no clinical recurrence. Chondromyxoid fibroma is an important differential diagnosis for bony orbital tumors.

Most clavicular tumors are malignant, with metastases and Ewing's sarcoma being the most common. Overall, clavicular neoplasms account for <1% of all bone tumors, and chondromyxoid fibroma (CMF) is particularly rare, comprising <1% of cases.

Cartilage tumors consist of a heterogeneous group of neoplasms characterized by the production of cartilage. Benign cartilage tumors generally exhibit slow growth and indolent behavior, while chondrosarcoma are more aggressive. Due to the overlapping morphology of cartilage tumors, integration of clinical, radiological, histologic and molecular data is needed to establish the correct diagnosis.

Chondromyxoid fibroma (CMF) is a rare, benign metaphyseal bone tumour characterised by a combination of chondroid, myxoid, and fibrous elements. It can affect any bone at any age, with no gender predilection.
