Real-time monitoring of senescent cells is of great significance for understanding and intervening in aging. Since overexpression of endogenous β-galactosidase (β-gal) is not unique to senescent cells, probes relying solely on β-gal activity could yield inaccurate senescent cell detection. Herein, we designed a dual-mode sequential response AND logic NIR probe MFB-βgal, which contains a β-gal-cleavable unit and a morpholine unit, serving as an enzymatic activity trigger and a lysosomal targeting moiety, respectively.

Human gait analysis with wearable sensors has been widely used in various applications, such as daily life healthcare, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and clinical diagnostics and monitoring. In particular, ground reaction force (GRF) provides critical information about how the body interacts with the ground during locomotion. Although instrumented treadmills have been widely used as the gold standard for measuring GRF during walking, their lack of portability and high cost make them impractical for many applications.

Simultaneous determination of Sr and Pu isotopes in marine biological samples.

State Key Laboratory of Loess Science, Shaanxi Key Laboratory of AMS Technology and Application, Xi'an AMS Center, Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi'an, 710061, China. Electronic address:

Pu and Sr are highly important radionuclides in the environment, which can accumulate in the human body through the food chain and cause radiation exposure. With the continuous discharge of treated nuclear contamination water from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, it is crucial to investigate and monitor the levels of Pu and Sr in seafood. However, it is still a challenge to determine Pu and Sr in seafood at environmental levels, owing to their extremely low concentrations, labor-intensive and time-consuming pre-treatment for large-sized samples.

Background: Measurement-based care (MBC), including remote MBC, is increasingly being considered or implemented for mental health treatment and outcomes monitoring in routine clinical care. However, little is known about the health equity implications in real-world practice or the impact on patient-provider relationships in lower-resource systems that offer mental health treatment for diverse patients.

Objective: This hypothesis-generating study examined the drivers of MBC implementation outcomes, the implications for health equity, and the impact of MBC on therapeutic alliance (TA).

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a context-specific, nurse-driven medication errors bundle in reducing the incidence of medication errors (MEs) by ≥ 50% in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).

Methods: We conducted a prospective, before-and-after quality improvement study, between February and November 2023, in a 15-bedded multidisciplinary PICU of a tertiary public hospital in northern India. Prescriptions advised to children hospitalized during the study period were analyzed.
