Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a context-specific, nurse-driven medication errors bundle in reducing the incidence of medication errors (MEs) by ≥ 50% in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
Methods: We conducted a prospective, before-and-after quality improvement study, between February and November 2023, in a 15-bedded multidisciplinary PICU of a tertiary public hospital in northern India. Prescriptions advised to children hospitalized during the study period were analyzed.

Background: Pressurised metered-dose inhalers (pMDIs), often prescribed for the treatment of COPD and asthma have a high global warming potential (GWP) compared to dry powder inhalers (DPIs) and soft-mist inhalers. Despite calls to switch from high to DPIs or soft-mist inhalers, prescriptions of pMDIs have increased in recent years. Understanding healthcare providers' preferences can help develop strategies to promote prescribing low GWP inhalers.

Background: The concept of nurse prescribing rights is undergoing rapid evolution, and there is increasing interest in academic circles regarding research on this topic.
Objective: This study aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of nurses' prescribing rights to understand the research background, emerging trends, and relevant academic impacts in this field, so as to provide valuable insights for the formulation of health policies and the promotion of more equitable and efficient healthcare services.
Methods: We conducted a bibliometric analysis of the articles on nurses' prescribing rights from the establishment of the database until 6 December 2023.

Background: A transformative primary healthcare system that delivers effective, efficient and equitable care services is imperative to tackle the ever-emerging challenges to population health such as the surging major lifestyle risks, mental health issues, the burden of chronic care and novel infectious diseases. Nurses, as one of the major service stakeholders in this global agenda, needs to proactively seek role advancement and competency development in primary healthcare. This process can be facilitated by seeking a comprehensive understanding of the global landscape of nurses' roles and competencies in primary healthcare.

Background: Naloxone is the most frequently prescribed antidote for opioid overdose. More than one-third of opioid overdose reversals involved ≥ 2 doses of intranasal naloxone 4 mg. While an 8 mg intranasal product is available, there are limited recommendations for the preferred dosage.
