Endometrial carcinoma is the most common gynaecological malignancy. Nevertheless there is a lack of curative therapies, especially for patients diagnosed with late stage, recurrent or aggressive disease, who have a poor prognosis. Cordyceps Sinensis, Ganoderma lucidum and Agaricus Blazi Murill are three fungi widely used in traditional Chinese medicine, and effects as adjuvants in tumour therapy have been demonstrated. However, the function and effects of these fungi in regard to endometrial cancer are not known. Three endometrial cancer cell lines, Ishikawa, Hec-1A and AN3-CA (derived from endometrial cancers grade I, II and III, respectively), were used to determine the effect of the fungi extracts on endometrial cancer cell function and to analyze the molecular mechanism. All fungi extracts had an inhibitory effect on cell viability and proliferation most probably exerted through induction of autophagy. Our data suggest that these fungi extracts may be used as adjuvants in endometrial tumour therapy.

Objective: Endometrial cancer (EC) and epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) affect women of all ages, and the incidence of endometrial cancer in premenopausal women is rising. Menopause can be detrimental to longevity and quality of life, but evidence suggests estrogen therapy (ET) is safe in these patients. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the practice patterns of gynecologists and gynecologic oncologists (GYO) in the United States in regards to prescription of ET to gynecologic cancer patients.

Gynecological cancer, encompassing cancers such as endometrial and cervical cancer, is a growing concern worldwide, with a rising incidence and significant impact on women's health. Pterostilbene (PT), a natural compound, has shown promising therapeutic potential in gynecological cancer treatment. This review aims to summarize the current state of knowledge on PT's effects in gynecological cancer, focusing on its molecular mechanisms, preclinical studies, and clinical trials.

To evaluate intraoperative ventilatory mechanics during robotic-assisted hysterectomy in obese women with endometrial cancer and introduce the concept of a physiologic "ceiling effect" in respiratory strain. We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 89 women with biopsy-confirmed endometrial cancer who underwent robotic-assisted total hysterectomy between 2011 and 2015. Intraoperative ventilatory parameters, including plateau airway pressure and static lung compliance, were recorded at five-minute intervals.

Background: We aimed to develop and validate a radiomics-based machine learning nomogram using multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging to preoperatively predict substantial lymphovascular space invasion in patients with endometrial cancer.
Methods: This retrospective dual-center study included patients with histologically confirmed endometrial cancer who underwent preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The patients were divided into training and test sets.

Serous endometrial carcinoma (SEC) is one of the most lethal types of uterine cancer, responsible for about 40% of all endometrial cancer-related deaths. Cell state dynamics during the early stages of SEC remain largely unknown, thereby hindering early detection and treatment of this disease. Here, we provide a comprehensive census of cell types and their states for normal, predysplastic, and dysplastic endometrium in a genetic mouse model of SEC.
