This study examines the relationship between parenting and proactive versus reactive aggression among preschool children in China. Children (1164) from 10 kindergartens in Shanghai were rated by their parents and teachers using the Parent Behavior Inventory (PBI) and the Aggressive Behavior-Teacher's Checklist. Children had higher levels of reactive than proactive aggression, and older children and boys had higher levels of both proactive and reactive aggression. Hostile/coercive parenting style and low father education were significantly linked to aggression in children. These findings suggest that parenting style and type of aggression should be addressed when considering prevention and intervention.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the most common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in humans, accounting for about 30-40% of NHL cases worldwide. Canine diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (cDLBCL) is the most common lymphoma subtype in dogs and demonstrates an aggressive biologic behaviour. For tissue biopsies, current confirmatory diagnostic approaches for enlarged lymph nodes rely on expert histopathological assessment, which is time-consuming and requires specialist expertise.

Purpose: Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most aggressive primary brain tumors with poor survival outcomes and a lack of approved therapies. A promising novel approach for GBM is the application of photodynamic therapy (PDT), a localized, light-activated treatment using tumor-selective photosensitizers. This narrative review describes the mechanisms, delivery systems, photosensitizers, and available evidence regarding the potential of PDT as a novel therapeutic approach for GBM.

Child-to-parent violence (CPV) is a problem of great social relevance, which maintains an exponential growth. The aim of this study was to examine the influence of adolescent stressors and emotional security in the family system as predictors of CPV (reactive and proactive), considering the moderating effect of parental divorce. A sample composed of 892 adolescents aged 14-18 years ( = 15.

Objective: Researchers have differentiated forms (overt, relational) and functions (proactive, reactive) of aggressive behavior; however, the assessment options for measuring these constructs in youth remain limited. This study examined the parent-report Peer Conflict Scale (PCS) for measuring forms and functions of youth aggressive behavior in English and Spanish, including short- and long-form versions.
Method: Participants were caregivers of 653 youths (ages 6-17; 57% male; 48% Hispanic) throughout North America.

The scalable fabrication of high performance dyes desalination loose nanofiltration (LNF) membrane through facile thermal annealing remains challenging due to the susceptible pore collapse. Herein, we have developed a metal ion mediated sub-Tg thermal crosslinking protocol, which can convert the phase inverted reactive polymeric ultrafiltration substrate into LNF membrane showing high permselectivity as well as resistance to both extremely acid and alkaline solution. The original ultrafiltration substrate was composed of scalable-produced reactive polyarylene ether amidoxime (PEA) that was pre-crosslinked with ferric ions.
