Measurements of the total and differential cross sections dσ/dp(T)(B) and dσ/dy(B) for B(+) mesons produced in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=7 TeV are presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 5.8 pb(-1) collected by the CMS experiment operating at the LHC. The exclusive decay B(+)→J/ψK(+), with J/ψ→μ(+)μ(-), is used to detect B(+) mesons and to measure the production cross section as a function of p(T)(B) and y(B). The total cross section for p(T)(B)>5 GeV and |y(B)|<2.4 is measured to be 28.1±2.4±2.0±3.1 μb, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the last is from the luminosity measurement.

This study focuses on suprasegmental features and investigates how the use of a second tonal dialect influences the production of tones in the first dialect among bidialectal speakers of Chengdu Mandarin (CM) and Standard Mandarin (SM). Using a word-naming task, this study analyzed the acoustic differences between tones in SM and CM that share similar pitch contours and assessed the impact of SM use on CM tone production. How bidialectal listeners perceptually map SM tones onto CM categories was further evaluated using a dissimilarity rating task.

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) imposes substantial economic losses on global swine production. While modified live vaccines remain the primary prevention tool, their efficacy is compromised by the genetic variability of PRRSV. This study developed a broadly neutralizing monoclonal antibody (mAb) that targets a conserved viral epitope as an alternative therapeutic strategy.

Accurate prediction of drug-target interactions (DTIs) is crucial for improving the efficiency and success rate of drug development. Despite recent advancements, existing methods often fail to leverage interaction features at multiple granular levels, resulting in suboptimal data utilization and limited predictive performance. To address these challenges, we propose CF-DTI, a coarse-to-fine drug-target interaction model that integrates both coarse-grained and fine-grained features to enhance predictive accuracy.
