Purpose: The aim of this study was to summarize and analyze the incidence, underlying causes and related risk factors of misdiagnosis in patients with Obstructed Hemivagina and Ipsilateral Renal Anomaly (OHVIRA) syndrome.
Methods: This is a single center, retrospective study conducted in a tertiary hospital, enrolling patients diagnosed with OHVIRA syndrome in our center between January 2000 and December 2023, with intact charts retrieved. We collected information related to misdiagnosis.

Hepatoid carcinoma of the ovary (HCO) is a highly uncommon and aggressive neoplasm originating from the surface epithelial cells of the ovary, characterized by hepatocyte-like differentiation. To date, most information on HCO is derived from case reports, with fewer than 50 documented cases globally. In this case report, we present a detailed account of the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of a patient diagnosed as having bilateral HCO, which is even rarer.

Background: Neuroimmune processes are often implicated in young people with atypical neuropsychiatric disorders, yet treatment implications remain controversial. This case series details young people with primary psychiatric disorders who received adjunctive immunotherapy after thorough investigation and extensive conventional treatments.
Methods: We evaluated 45 individuals (93% female, ages 12-30 years) with atypical psychiatric presentations suggesting potential neuroimmune involvement.

Apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (ApHCM) is an uncommon, nonobstructive form of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) that is associated with an increased risk of ventricular aneurysms, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and cardiac death. In this case report, a 63-year-old male patient was found to have deeply negative T waves on electrocardiogram (EKG) during a routine preoperative evaluation in an outpatient internal medicine clinic. Imaging with echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance confirmed the diagnosis of ApHCM.

Laryngocele is defined as the abnormal dilatation of the laryngeal saccule by air, and when it becomes infected, it is termed a laryngopyocele. Laryngopyoceles can present acutely with airway compromise and swallowing difficulties, along with other symptoms such as hoarseness and neck pain. A 78-year-old male with a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease presented with a progressively enlarging left-sided neck swelling over 30 years, recently associated with hoarseness, dysphagia, and respiratory distress.
