Background: Cardiac laminopathies, associated with mutations in the LMNA gene, are a rare inherited disorder characterized by a broad range of clinical manifestations. There are currently no data on the association between supraventricular re-entrant tachycardias and LMNA-related cardiomyopathy.
Case Summary: A 26-year-old male presented with either wide-QRS tachycardia with a left bundle branch block (LBBB) pattern or narrow QRS tachycardia, as well as a history of palpitations since age 15.

Purpose: To report a case of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) initially presenting as orbital involvement, describe its successful management, and provide a comprehensive literature review.
Case Report: A 33-year-old female patient presented with swelling, redness, tenderness, and a mass under the left upper eyelid for one month. Upper lid eversion showed a multilobulated lesion in the subconjunctival area of the same region.

Background: Postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) commonly occurs following surgical repair of degenerative mitral regurgitation (DMR) and is associated with unfavorable outcomes. This study aimed to identify preoperative risk factors for acute POAF in patients undergoing mitral valve repair for DMR, with a specific focus on the role of preoperative echocardiography.

Importance: Patients with kidney failure (KF) receiving long-term dialysis have increased incidence of atrial fibrillation (AF). Patients with KF and AF have increased risk of stroke, death, and bleeding compared with age-matched cohorts. In KF, the use of oral anticoagulants (OACs) increases hemorrhage risk, offsetting potential benefits and making left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) a potentially promising solution for risk reduction in AF.
