In response to the challenges of complex background interference, inadequate feature utilization, and model redundancy in multispectral crown extraction, this paper proposes a dual-channel crown detection and segmentation approach based on an improved YOLOv7 architecture, named Dual-YOLOv7. First, a dual-branch feature extraction network is designed, integrating visible light and infrared spectral information and dynamically weights key features through an attention mechanism. Second, the D-SimSPPF module is introduced, which employs depthwise separable convolution to optimize spatial pyramid pooling, thereby enhancing the capability to capture fine details while reducing the number of parameters.

This study investigated the kinetics of hydrodearomatization and catalyst deactivation on a CoMo/AlO catalyst using a fixed-bed reactor in the lab. Experiments were conducted with blended feedstocks of straight-run diesel and catalytic cracking diesel.

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the long-term effectiveness and safety of baricitinib (BAR) add-on therapy for refractory or severe juvenile dermatomyositis (rsJDM) in a practical, real-world setting.
Methods: In this single-centre retrospective study, 27 children with rsJDM and poor response to corticosteroids (CS) and immunosuppressants were treated with BAR. Disease activity was assessed via physician global assessment of overall disease activity (PhyGloVAS), the childhood myositis assessment scale (CMAS), manual muscle testing-8 (MMT-8) and the disease activity score (DAS).
Zinc ion batteries (ZIBs) have been gradually developed in recent years due to their abundant resources, low cost, and environmental friendliness. Therefore, ZIBs have received a great deal of attention from researchers, which are considered as the next generation of portable energy storage systems. However, poor overall performance of ZIBs restricts their development, which is attributed to zinc dendrites and a series of side reactions.

Irrespective of the release of the obstruction, persistent bladder dysfunction severely affects the quality of life. A better understanding of the repair process offers an opportunity to enhance postintervention management.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Development of bladder fibrosis, loss of compliance, and voiding dysfunction are among the severe consequences of various lower urinary conditions, for example, bladder outlet obstruction (BOO), neurogenic bladder, and radiotherapy to the pelvic area. The bladder remodelling results in significant changes in bladder function and architecture, and may ultimately be deleterious for kidney function. The molecular signals underlying pathologic bladder remodelling, as well as the impact of gender, remain poorly understood.

Methods: At the International Consultation on Incontinence-Research Society (ICI-RS) in 2017, a multi-disciplinary group presented a literature search of what is known about the utility of Urodynamics, including ambulatory, and 24 h monitoring, in predicting upper urinary tract damage in neuro-urological patients and other lower urinary tract dysfunctions. Wider discussions regarding knowledge gaps, and ideas for future research ensued and are presented in this paper along with a review of the evidence.
The gas-liquid interfacial dynamics of bubble breakup in a T junction was investigated. Four regimes were observed for a bubble passing through the T junction. It was identified by the stop flow that a critical width of the bubble neck existed: if the minimum width of the bubble neck was less than the critical value, the breakup was irreversible and fast; while if the minimum width of the bubble neck was larger than the critical value, the breakup was reversible and slow.
