Objectives: We previously demonstrated the efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) using a self-check sheet for patients with nocturia in a randomized controlled study. Additionally, we investigated the efficacy of the intervention in real-world clinical practice.
Methods: Two hundred forty-three outpatients with complaint of nocturia who practiced CBT for 4 weeks using a self-check sheet were included in this trial, which took place from April 2021 to March 2022 in 20 institutions.

(Purpose) This study examined the usefulness of positron emission tomography (PET) / computed tomography (CT) in the diagnosis of metastasis in patients with urothelial carcinoma. (Materials and methods) The subjects were patients who were newly diagnosed with urothelial carcinoma in our department on whom we performed CT and PET/CT to search for metastasis. (Results) The median age of the 92 subjects was 71 years, and bladder and upper tract urotherial cancer were underlying diseases in 41 (46%) and 51 (54%) patients, respectively.

(Purpose) To investigate clinical outcomes of gender affirming surgery performed for gender dysphoria/incongruence. (Material and methods) This retrospective observational study included 59 transgender persons (41 transgender men and 18 transgender women) who received gender affirming surgery at Sapporo Medical University Hospital from June 2006 through December 2018. Their medical charts were reviewed and peri- and postoperative complications within one year after surgery were checked and graded according to the Clavien-Dindo classification.

We examined the postoperative urinary continence rate, and preoperative and postoperative factors predicting postoperative urinary continence for patients who underwent robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RARP) at our hospital. In all, 122 patients who received RARP were retrospectively analyzed. All patients answered a questionnaire to evaluate the urinary condition and also had a follow-up period of 6 months or longer after surgery.

He had been treated for nephrotic syndrome with cyclophosphamide and steroids since he was in his 20s. Materials And Methods: From May 1991 through June 2016, 53 patients were diagnosed retrospectively as having NMIBC with variant histology. Among these patients, 47 NMIBC patients with squamous differentiation or glandular differentiation were analyzed for this study.
