Background: Following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR), neuromuscular control alterations may persist, increasing the risk of reinjury.
Objectives: This study aimed to investigate electromyographic (EMG) muscle activation and the co-contraction index (CCI) of ACL-related agonist and antagonist muscles during side-hop tasks in ACLR individuals, offering novel insights into neuromuscular strategies during dynamic tasks.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 15 ACLR individuals and 15 participants without ACL injury (N-ACLR).
The distribution of biomass among trophic levels and different types of organisms is a key characteristic of ecosystems. However, such biomass distributions might exhibit large perturbations owing to human activities. We used long-term camera trap data from a temperate forest ecosystem within the Cantabrian range, northern Spain, to quantify the biomass distribution of 10 mammal species ranging in body mass from 300 g to almost 100 kg.

Aims: Effective management of heart failure requires both pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies with an emphasis on self-care behaviours. Nurses play a crucial role in promoting self-care, especially during hospitalization, when early intervention can improve the outcomes. Despite the importance of effective self-care in heart failure, there is no clear consensus on which aspects of self-care should be prioritized for hospitalized individuals.

Multiple studies have highlighted that enhancing these environments offer substantial benefits. A strong association has been established between the nursing practice environment and key factors such as professional satisfaction, safety climate, staff retention, and the quality and safety of care delivered.

Introduction: Strengthening the safety climate in surgical centres is essential for ensuring care and patient safety, which directly impacts the reduction in the occurrence of adverse events and complications. In this sense, used to strengthen the safety climate in the operating room.
Methods And Analysis: A scoping review will be carried out on the basis of the method proposed by the JBI and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) will be applied.
Classifying objects, such as taxonomic identification of fossils based on morphometric variables, is a time-consuming process. This task is further complicated by intra-class variability, which makes it ideal for automation via machine learning (ML) techniques. In this study, we compared six different ML techniques based on datasets with morphometric features used to classify isolated theropod teeth at both genus and higher taxonomic levels.

The organizational climate encourages professionals to preserve positive practice environments, which promotes a healthy coexistence between generations, respecting their distinctive characteristics and values, with the essential purpose of ensuring the team's effectiveness and the organization's success.
Objective: To map the available scientific evidence on the generational diversity of nurses in professional practice environments.
In recent years, research has increasingly highlighted the significance of nursing practice environments, linking positive settings with enhanced job satisfaction, professional autonomy, and care quality. Such environments can decrease turnover, stress, and costs while improving patient safety. Despite this extensive literature, there is limited consensus on defining a 'positive nursing practice environment', highlighting the need for a systematic analysis to advance understanding and application.

The aim is to synthesize the evidence on the use of artificial intelligence in the organization of nursing care.
Methods: A scoping review was carried out based on the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines, in the MEDLINE, CINAHL Complete, Business Source Ultimate and Scopus databases.

Positive nursing practice environments benefit clients, professionals, and institutions, specifically for professionals, by improving professional visibility, recognition, retention intentions, well-being, commitment, job satisfaction, and reducing stress and burnout. Clients experience better quality care, safety, satisfaction, engagement, and fewer care omissions. Institutions favored reduced absenteeism and turnover, improved efficiency, lower costs, and better health outcomes.

Preventing motor delay thus requires identifying, characterizing, and quantifying deficit in postural control as early as possible. In our study, we reviewed the procedures used in past studies to assess postural control among individuals born preterm, specifically the characterization of participants, the instruments and motor tasks involved, the types of data collected and analyzed, and the outcomes.

An online questionnaire about general sample characterization, PA level, and readiness was applied. Of the 717 respondents, 237 were academic teachers, 143 were non-teacher staff, and 337 were students.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic reinforced the need to invest in nursing practice environments and health institutions were led to implement several changes. In this sense, this study aimed to analyze the impact of the changes that occurred in nursing practice environments between the first and fourth critical periods of the pandemic.
Methods: Quantitative, observational study, conducted in a University Hospital, with the participation of 713 registered nurses.

(1) Background: The repercussions of work environments were widely studied before the pandemic. However, there are still many difficulties to be discovered considering the impact generated by it. Thus, this study aimed to analyse the impact of COVID-19 on nursing practice environments and nurses' job satisfaction.

Introduction: The Self-Care Dependency Evaluation Form assesses dependency in performing self-care activities, but its original version is extensive and provides redundant information. The present study aims to scrutinise the items of the scale with the purpose of creating a revised version and to evaluate its psychometric properties.
Methods: The study was conducted in two phases.
After a stroke in middle cerebral artery territory, there is a high probability of dysfunction of the ventromedial pathways, mainly related with postural control mechanisms such as the anticipatory postural adjustments (APAs). According to neuroanatomical knowledge, these pathways have a predominant ipsilesional disposition, which justifies a bilateral postural control dysfunction, often neglected in rehabilitation. In order to assess this bilateral postural control dysfunction, electromyography activity was assessed in eight post-stroke and 10 healthy individuals in the anterior deltoids, the superior and lower trapezius, and the latissimus dorsi as they reached for a bottle with both upper limbs separately at a self-selected velocity and fast velocity while standing associated with trunk kinematics analysis.

The aim of this study was to explore the force irradiation effects of upper limb isometric diagonal exercises on shoulder muscle activities. Interactions among diagonal directions, contraction intensities (moderate and maximum) and sex were assessed. Thirty healthy subjects (11 males) performed isometric unilateral diagonal exercises based on proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation technique in an isokinetic dynamometer with their dominant upper limbs.
