Methods: a cross-sectional study conducted in eight hospitals in southern Brazil. Participants were 291 nurses who answered a sociodemographic/professional questionnaire, the Scale for the Environment Evaluation of Professional Nursing Practice, and the Job Satisfaction Survey.
Objectives: to report on the contributions of the sandwich doctorate to the training of Nursing PhDs, exploring and analyzing its impacts on promoting international collaboration between graduate programs and its contribution to Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, and 10.
Methods: this experience report describes a doctoral student's journey abroad, supported by a scholarship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), at a Nursing School in Portugal, conducted between May and July 2023.
Results: the results are presented in three sections: activities performed; contributions of the sandwich doctorate to achieving Goals 4, 5, and 10; difficulties encountered and strategies for overcoming them.
: Organizing nurses' work is crucial for ensuring patient care quality and efficiency. Nurses' work methods directly influence patient safety and healthcare outcomes, making them vital for effective health services. Assessing these methods helps identify effective practices, enhance work organization, and improve both professional satisfaction and patient safety.

Introduction: Strengthening the safety climate in surgical centres is essential for ensuring care and patient safety, which directly impacts the reduction in the occurrence of adverse events and complications. In this sense, used to strengthen the safety climate in the operating room.
Methods And Analysis: A scoping review will be carried out on the basis of the method proposed by the JBI and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) will be applied.
Objective: To analyse the prevalence of depressive symptoms in centenarians, identify their predictors, and explore the role of functional dependence as a contributing factor.
Design Setting, And Participants: Cross-sectional baseline data from the Swiss Centenarian Study (n = 102), including community-dwelling and institutionalised participants with complete data on depressive symptoms and functional capacity.
Measurements: Functional capacity was assessed using the Older Americans Resources and Services Multidimensional Functional Assessment Questionnaire.

In the Portuguese context, no instrument allows evaluation of the nurses' professionalism, which led to the objective of cross-culturally adapting and validating the content of the Nurses' Professionalism Inventory for the Portuguese context.
Methods: A methodological study was carried out and comprised six stages: translation, synthesis, back-translation, committee of experts, pre-test, and approval of the process by the original author developer of the instrument.
Introduction: Patients, nurses, and the organization itself can benefit from a good work environment. One of the weaknesses most often cited by nurses was the lack of involvement and participation in setting workplace policies. Using games is a promising strategy for promoting positive caregiving environments.

Method: A quantitative, explanatory, cross-sectional study was carried out in 24 Primary Care health units. A total of 159 nursing professionals took part and answered a questionnaire on personal and professional characteristics and the Nursing Professional Practice Evaluation Scale/SEE-Nursing Practice, comprised of Structure, Process, and Outcome sub-scales.
Background: Dialysis recovery time (DRT) refers to the period during which fatigue and weakness subside following hemodialysis treatment, allowing patients to resume their daily routines. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing DRT in hemodialysis patients in Turkey and Portugal, where the prevalence of chronic kidney disease is notably high.
Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in a private dialysis center in Turkey and three dialysis centers in Portugal.
Introduction: Generational diversity in nursing has introduced new challenges, for nurse managers and practice environments, in addressing both the nurses' and clients' needs and organizations' social and health policies. The organizational climate encourages professionals to preserve positive practice environments, which promotes a healthy coexistence between generations, respecting their distinctive characteristics and values, with the essential purpose of ensuring the team's effectiveness and the organization's success.
Objective: To map the available scientific evidence on the generational diversity of nurses in professional practice environments.

The aim is to synthesize the evidence on the use of artificial intelligence in the organization of nursing care.
Methods: A scoping review was carried out based on the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines, in the MEDLINE, CINAHL Complete, Business Source Ultimate and Scopus databases.
Objectives: to adapt and validate the content of the Healthy Work Environment Assessment Tool for Brazilian culture, and evaluate the practical aspects of its application.
Methods: methodological study that followed six stages: translation; synthesis; back translation; content validation by a group of experts, pre-testing and approval of the process by the author of the original instrument.
Results: the first three stages were carried out by contracted companies.
Background: Games are a promising strategy for rehabilitating older adults. The effect of games on promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing frailty remains uncertain. This article aims to describe the process of development and validation of the game "Bem-me-quer para a saúde" to promote the acquisition of healthy lifestyles and prevent frailty in over 65-year-olds.

Positive nursing practice environments benefit clients, professionals, and institutions, specifically for professionals, by improving professional visibility, recognition, retention intentions, well-being, commitment, job satisfaction, and reducing stress and burnout. Clients experience better quality care, safety, satisfaction, engagement, and fewer care omissions. Institutions favored reduced absenteeism and turnover, improved efficiency, lower costs, and better health outcomes.

Aim: The aim of this study is to test the validity and reliability of the shortened version of the Scale for the Environments Evaluation of Professional Nursing Practice (SEE-Nursing Practice).
Methods: This methodological, cross-sectional study was conducted between September and December 2022. The original version of the SEE-Nursing Practice was administered in questionnaire format across 17 hospitals.
Introduction: To verify whether the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the safety climate based on the perception of the multiprofessional team in the operating room and to analyze the domains of the safety climate during the pre-pandemic and pandemic period of COVID-19, demonstrating the intersections of quantitative and qualitative approaches.
Methods: Mixed-method research using a convergent approach strategy, carried out in the operating room of a university hospital, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The nature of the quantitative phase was cross-sectional, and the nature of the qualitative phase was descriptive.
