Objective: In the current cost management model of public hospitals, decision-making heavily relies on the subjective judgment of managers, resulting in a 12.9% cost overrun compared to the budget in 2020 at a tertiary hospital in Eastern China. To address the systemic issues in the hospital's cost control practices, this study introduced a decision-making framework based on the Game-Theoretic combination weighting method into the hospital's cost management system.

Under the dual pressures of global climate change and rapid urbanization, urban soil ecosystems face increasingly complex risks and challenges. Existing urban soil ecological risk assessment methods are primarily limited to single-dimensional analysis or linear assessment models, making it difficult to reveal the complex interaction mechanisms among soil, climate, and human activities. This study pioneers the integration of social-ecological system theory with multi-criteria decision-making methods to innovatively construct a dynamic coupling assessment framework.

The acquisition of ectopic fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1) expression is well documented in prostate cancer (PCa) progression, notably in conferring tumor growth advantage and facilitating metastasis. However, how FGFR1 contributes to PCa progression is not fully revealed. Here we report that ectopic FGFR1 in PCa cells promotes transferrin receptor 1 (TFR1) expression and expands the labile iron pool (LIP), and vice versa.

Sustainable development of rural has become an essential global plan. Habitat sustainability assessment of rural is a critical management tool to grasp the development status of rural in real-time and enable dynamic adjustment of policies. This paper combines the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the entropy weight method, TOPSIS, and grey correlation analysis to construct a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) evaluation model, which is finally used to assess the sustainability of the rural human settlement environment.
