Green synthesis is an eco-friendly and sustainable approach to nanoparticle production using biological sources such as plant extracts and microorganisms. Unlike traditional chemical methods, it aligns with green chemistry principles by reducing toxic reagents, minimizing waste, and lowering environmental impact. Green-synthesized nanoparticles have shown great potential, especially in biomedicine, for targeted drug delivery, antimicrobial treatments, and imaging applications.

Imaging revealed a 4 × 3 × 1 cm mass originating in the right orbital roof with adjacent bony remodeling, a calcific rim along the inferior extent of the lesion, and a heterogenous central component with hyper- and hypo-dense components. An orbitotomy with biopsy with near-total resection was performed, which yielded a diagnosis of juvenile trabecular ossifying fibroma, a tumor rarely found in the orbit.

Purpose: Heterotopic calcification (HC) is a rarely reported pathology of aberrant bone deposition in extraskeletal tissue, most commonly outside of the central nervous system. While some of these findings may be incidental and asymptomatic, patients with symptomatic cord compression due to HC require consideration for expedited surgical intervention. We present the first described pediatric case of HC of the cervical spine causing spinal cord compression in a patient presenting with acute weakness and paresthesias following a minor trauma.

These cycles are intricately influenced by plant-microbe symbioses, which facilitate nutrient acquisition, organic matter decomposition, and the transformation of soil nutrients. Through mutualistic interactions, plants and microbes co-regulate nutrient availability and promote ecosystem resilience, especially under environmental stress.

Background: Ewing sarcoma is a rare and highly aggressive pediatric bone cancer that is histologically composed of small, round blue cells. These histologic findings can make it difficult to assess intraoperative frozen section bone marrow margins because the bone marrow that regenerates after preoperative chemotherapy has a similar appearance, especially on frozen section analysis. Prior studies have more broadly questioned the utility of intraoperative assessment of bone marrow margins using frozen sections during the resection of bone sarcomas; however, to our knowledge, no prior study has specifically characterized the accuracy or clinical utility of evaluating bone marrow margins on frozen sections during long bone Ewing sarcoma resection.

Introduction: Differentiating benign and malignant myxoid soft-tissue tumors preoperatively can be challenging due to shared clinical, imaging, and histologic features. Biopsy specimens are frequently described as "low-grade myxoid neoplasms" without benign or malignant classification (ie, indeterminate). Our purpose is to evaluate the prevalence and prognosis of myxoid tumors with an indeterminate diagnosis before resection.

The purpose of our study is to educate and raise awareness among young girls and women about the importance of cervical screening and HPV vaccination.
Materials And Methods: The present study, conducted from January 2023 to December 2023, focused on students, teachers, housewives, and healthcare professionals in the Jammu region to assess their awareness of cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine.
Introduction: Breast cancer is the second most prevalent disease among women in India and one of the most dangerous and lethal. Chemotherapy-treated breast cancer patients may have perceived stress, which is defined as emotions of mental or physical exhaustion that make them feel angry or anxious. Mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) gives some ideas in line with the conventional mindfulness technique.

Demonstrating therapeutic advantages in traditional and contemporary medical practices, RW exhibits key pharmacological effects including anticancer activity, gastrointestinal control, anti-inflammatory properties, and suppression of fibrosis. Despite its recognized vast bioactivities in ethnopharmacology, its efficacy against the colorectal cancer (CRC) remains incompletely understood.

This study explored the metagenome of the Pir Panjal Hot Spring (PPHS) to identify thermostable hydrolases. The carboxypeptidase (CarP) gene was successfully amplified and cloned into Escherichia coli DH5-α cells, followed by expression in E. coli BL21-DE3 cells.

Crigler massages, warm compresses, and moxifloxacin HCl drops were administered without resolution of symptoms. Probing and irrigation for a presumed dacryocystocele were performed, but the nasolacrimal system was patent, and the mass persisted after the procedure.

Methods: A prospective interventional comparative study was conducted at a tertiary eye care center. Sixty consecutive cases requiring cataract surgery following pars plana vitrectomy were allocated into Group 1 ( n = 30), who underwent FLACS with intraocular lens implantation, and Group 2 ( n = 30), who underwent CPCS with intraocular lens implantation, and followed up for 3 months.
The reactivity of six Mn-oxo complexes in C-H bond oxidation has been examined using a combination of kinetic experiments and computational methods. Variable-temperature studies of the oxidation of 9,10-dihydroanthracene (DHA) and ethylbenzene by these Mn-oxo complexes yielded activation parameters suitable for evaluating electronic structure computations. Complementary kinetic experiments of the oxidation of deuterated DHA provided evidence for hydrogen-atom tunneling in C-H bond oxidation for all Mn-oxo complexes.

Several factors have been implicated in the development of this disease, viz age, gender, weight, height and prolonged standing. Recently, genome-wide studies have identified genetic biomarkers that are associated with varicose veins in different ethnic groups.

This pollution, stemming from pharmaceutical manufacturing, agriculture, and improper disposal, can disrupt aquatic ecosystems and potentially impact human health through the consumption of contaminated water and food. The removal of genotoxic antibiotics using algae-mediated approaches has gained considerable attention due to its potential for mitigating the environmental and health risks associated with these compounds.

» Negative margin resection of musculoskeletal sarcomas is associated with reduced risk of local recurrence.» There is limited evidence to support an absolute margin width of soft tissue or bone that correlates with reduced risk of local recurrence.» Factors intrinsic to the tumor, including histologic subtype, grade, growth pattern and neurovascular involvement impact margin status and local recurrence, and should be considered when evaluating a patient's individual risk after positive margins.

Rare cancers (RCs), which account for over 20% of cancer cases, face significant research and treatment challenges due to their limited prevalence. This results in suboptimal outcomes compared to more common malignancies. Rare bone tumors (RBTs) constitute 5-10% of rare cancer cases and pose unique diagnostic complexities.

Sarcoma is a heterogeneous group of malignancies often resistant to conventional chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/ protein kinase B /mammalian target of rapamycin (PI3K/Akt/mTOR) signaling pathway has emerged as a critical cancer target due to its central role in regulating key cellular processes such as cell growth, proliferation, survival, and metabolism. Dysregulation of this pathway has been implicated in the development and progression of bone sarcomas (BS) and soft tissue sarcomas (STS).
