Holoferritin is considered a promising iron supplement, yet its preparation is challenging due to low extraction efficiencies from natural sources and the potential for structural damage during in vitro mineralization. This study reported the in vivo biosynthesis of a highly stable holoferritin (bs-holoFt) in Escherichia coli a high iron-loading capacity (1213 Fe atoms/protein) and systematically characterized the impact of heat treatments (70-100 °C) on the protein's multi-level structure and dual functions. Results showed a clear, temperature-dependent degradation pathway, initiated by the loss of α-helical content (decreased from 77.

This study focuses on three representative geomorphological areas in Northeast China as research subjects. It employs the bivariate spatial autocorrelation method to explore the spatial correlation between ALES and arable land quality, and uses spatial regression models to investigate the specific impact of ALES on arable land quality.

Materials And Methods: Sixty-three patients with esophageal carcinoma were treated with three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (RT) using the Elekta Precise treatment planning system with a prescribed dose of 50-70 Gy. Dose-volume histograms were collected from three-dimensional conformal RT to determine the volume percentage of the lung received V5, V10, V20, and the normal tissue complication probability.
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays an important role in the initiation and regulation of angiogenesis in various tumor tissues. Recently, several therapeutic approaches based on the inhibition of VEGF function during angiogenesis. However, VEGF function in cervical cancer may not be limited to angiogenesis, and VEGF signaling may be important for the ability of these tumor cells to evade apoptosis and progress towards invasive and metastatic diseases.
